Mobile Vet of Western MA

I was incredibly nervous to find a vet through Unilocal,but thank goodness I ran across Dr. Sidorksy! While this type of service isn’t cheap, I couldn’t have imagined a better experience given the circumstances. A few thoughts:
Pros:
*This is the case with all mobile vets, but it bears mention that he comes to your house, thereby eliminating the stress on the pet of going to the vet (I won’t say more on this because this is the case with all mobile vets). I also had taken my cat to a highly-​regarded vet office in the area and everyone I saw there was on the same page as Sidorsky, so I felt confident moving forward with his expertise
*I found him to be incredibly knowledgeable, professional and seemed like an authority I could trust. I felt comfortable with his treatment services, although I’m not sure I would use him as regular care for minor issues (simply for cost reasons and ease of getting medication).
*Like a family doctor, we talked on the phone multiple times to follow up on my cat’s condition. It made me feel comfortable knowing he/​we would be checking in every few days.
*When he did come to put my cat to sleep, he was incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, which really made the experience — as horrible as it was — the best possible. I would highly recommend him for euthanasia of a beloved pet.
Cons:
*I never had particularly great/​warm experiences on the phone coordinating appointments with his wife, although that could be because I was a wreak emotionally and pretty sensitive.
*Very expensive, especially for emergency appointments.
Overall, highly recommended! I would absolutely turn to Dr. Sidorksy again.

Amazing best VET ever very kind Dr. Sadorskie made me feel comfortable as well as my pup, takes all payments and he was a half hour early. I recommend him highly I can’t say enough also prices are so reasonable seeing as he came to my house #foundanewvetandovertgemoon thank you for being so kind and taking the time to be an awesome person and pet care taker. He was very honest and for someone as neurotic as I am about my pets Health made me feel as though I was doing a good job! Thank so much

When our senior cat wasn’t doing so well we decided to put him down. We contacted Dr. Robert Sidorsky and he got back to us quickly. He came to our home the next day (even called to see if he could come earlier) and was so very kind and gentle with our old friend. He explaned everything he was going to do and even made us feel slightly better by asking us about our memories with Jynx. It will be a long while before I decide to have another pet but I definitley know who to call if i need a vet. Thank you Dr Sidorsky!

Dr. Sidorsky provided excellent care for our senior dog for two years. When the time came to put our beloved pet to sleep, we were so glad that Dr. Sidorsky and his wife, Linda, could come to our home. Saying goodbye to our old friend at home and seeing him go so peacefully — these things really meant a lot. We would recommend Dr. Sidorsky without any reservations. He is kind, compassionate, trustworthy, and absolutely wonderful with animals and the humans who love them.

Simply excellent service. I’m taking in my father’s older dog who tends to get into everything. This time he was bit or stung by something and because he kept messing with the area it looked as though it was infected. The good Doctor came to the rescue and was so friendly. I highly recommend him!!!

Dr. Sidorsky saved my best friend’s life.
After having had consulted with our previous vet, and having been provided with questionable advice, I contacted the good doctor in order to seek out a second opinion. He provided me with excellent advice via phone, and after being refused further treatment by my previous vet, Dr. Sidorsky offered to come by my home and provide me with some options. All of our animals, including my sick dog, felt comfortable around him, and he provided me with detailed 1 on 1 instruction in administration of the antibiotics and use of equipment that he provided me. He followed up with me on a daily basis regarding progress, and made a second house call to confirm that my dog’s health had improved.
At the initial visit, we were discussing hospice and a shot in the dark to save my dog’s life. Now we’re discussing how much he has improved. His prices were on par (if not lower in some ways) than my normal vet, and his bedside manner professional and compassionate. I’ve found my new vet, and am recommending him to all my friends. Having a vet do house call may seem a bit odd at first glance, but I can say from experience that it’s my new preference (no more having to load the animal into the car and have them terrified at the smell of the regular vet).
Try his service out. You won’t be disappointed.

I wish someone had recommended Dr. Sidorsky to me earlier. I took in a terminally ill cat that had less than a year to live. When I knew it was time for her to be euthanized, our regular vet (who diagnosed her as terminal in the first place) seemed to want to prolong her painful life, prescribing expensive medicine and food that she didn’t like and telling us to let her continue urinating on our floors. We knew it wasn’t right, that she was in pain, and that it was time.
Dr. Sidorsky talked us through every step. He made us feel so much better, and allowed our cat die with dignity and peace. I will continue to use his regular services for my other cat and any pets I adopt in the future.
Every vet should be like this.

Dr. Sidorski came to our house two hours after I called, he was caring and compassionate as he had been in the past.
He put my family at ease, and my dogs health in perspective. He always returns my call and explains things very clearly.
His price is very reasonable, especially considering he comes to your house.
I am very happy we have him to call here in the hills of Western Mass.

Dr. Sidorsky and Linda were great! Not only did they do a great job with my cats, they also recommended a better website to get their food… and it’s saving me even more money than buying it directly from my old vet. They are both very knowledgeable and friendly… I never thought I’d say this but I’m looking forward to their next visit (I never say that about bringing my cats to the vet!).

Finally broke down after seeing our cat Charcoal in so much pain and decided to give the house-​call vet a call. I was really surprised to see that the Doctor himself answered the phone late last night (wow!) just in case of an emergency and then he swung by right away this afternoon (I don’t think Charcoal was in an emergency. just. not getting better). He came over and took care of things pretty quickly and pretty thoroughly and all right from our home – didn’t need to use a cat carrier or anything. Not only was it great to have the come to us, but Dr. Sidorsky was both genuinely caring as well as a pro. I feel pretty confident about recommending them to anyone that needs a vet. Please do you and your pets a favor and give them a try.
Edit: Just a quick follow-​up update! Charcoal, our cat, got better and better every day over the next week after the Doctor’s visit and one week later, as he had predicted, he was as good as new, energetic and back to giving us his feline opinions on the quality of the foods he likes and doesn’t like again. :) Once again, I can’t express how satisfied we are with his service and care.
