I choose this hotel cause of location, also I’ve stayed at many Marriott cause of work, they are usually outstanding. The staff upon arrival were nice and informative, parking easy and accessible. But… the room was EXTREMELY dusty, I’ve never seen dust on the wall above the bed headboard, the drapes were 10xs as bad. Above the bed there was a large crack, and with the heater blowing would actually blow little pieces down from the ceiling. Highly disappointed

Just had to review our experience there. The senior wait staff never misses a beat. Always there just before you need them. The meals keep getting better and better. Went there with a few friends on a Saturday night and had the absolutely best meal. The only draw back was, we had a younger waitress and we had to constantly try to get her attention for basic service. Fortunately an experienced waitress, one we had on previous occasions saw us and filled in the blanks. Also the bartender was extremely personable. He got us seated immediately and had a pleasant conversation with all of us. These people should be cloned and placed in all the Marriotts. The chef is a goldmine.

I cannot believe the previous bad reviews. I have stayed here twice for kids hockey. Yes Springfield in general is a depressed area but that being said this hotel is very clean(I think it was done over within the past 3 years) the staff is very nice, and the sports bar is a fun place that accommodated us. The fact that there are stores and restaurants available without having to venture out was very convenient. We had a great weekend there and would not hesitate staying there again.

A decent property. Predictable Marriott comfort.

Not impressed. Picked this hotel because of it’s close location to symphony hall and because it has a restaurant inside. I arrived at 1:00pm on a Saturday, checked in and headed to get some lunch. Much to my dismay restaurant was closed. They recommend sports bar next door. I ended up at the sports bar eating an overly greasy burger and fries. So I attempted the currents restaurant again for dinner. Big shocker, closed until 5:30 pm. I had to leave for an event but thought I would at least stop by for dessert and drinks after my event. Arrived back before 10:00pm and closed! So my relaxing weekend of ordering room service didn’t go so well. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where restaurant had such limited bizarre hours. Highly disappointed!

I agree that it is nice to have a CVS, Dunkin Donuts, etc right in the building. The staff is great, very helpful. Beds are super comfortable. The drawback is the bathroom. Why is it so small? I felt like I was in an airplane bathroom. That alone makes me not want to stay there again because I couldn’t move without running into things. It’s too bad because everything else was really nice.

They were very friendly staff and the rooms were clean. The bathrooms are the size of a small closet. You step out of the shower and on to the toilet. The AC blows directly at you on the bed and the vents are stationary. They advertise shopping which consists of 3 – 4 shops which were closed all weekend. The pool was old and need of some updating. also I feel and hotels should offer free wifi and parking for their quests

The best thing about this hotel is that you don’t ever have to leave it for things you might need. Why is that so great? Because the area is SUPER sketchy. The hotel is attached to a mall that has a drug store, coffee shops, sports bar, and a food court. Also some odd hat/purse/clothing shops. Anyway. I would describe this hotel as a no-frills place to stay for business. Nothing is super nice or fancy. The gym is fine but not 24 hours(unless that has since changed). The breakfast is skimpy and amazingly overpriced. The rooms are okay but small and nothing special. It really makes me want to try out the Sheraton across the street every time I stay here. Haha.
