Lamplighter Inn & Suites

For $ 65, this was a great stay, even came with breakfast for us. 2 queen sized beds, micro, mini frdge. Hung out in the pool and jacuzzi.

You get what you pay for definitely comes to mind… The rooms are in serious need of updating, the outside stairway is a little scary! The staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was mediocre with very little healthy options.

This hotel is decent but not great. Very outdated. I can’t speak about the pool since I didn’t see it but would be nice for young families. The free breakfast was ok, nothing special. Lots of carbs. Staff was friendly. Flat screen TV was nice. Wifi was extremely weak. Wish I could have open the windows as the room smelled stale. not bad for the price but would not stay here again if there were other comparable priced choices.

Nice and clean rooms. Soft bed. flat screen tv. Good channel package as well. Bobtail parking in the back. $ 62 with CDL. Pub inside the hotel. Lots of places to eat in walking distance. I would stay here again.

Great place for he value. Room was fine. Pool was good and open late. There is a bar for drinks. Staff was polite. Room was clean. Breakfast was totally worth it. The hotel overall is a little dated and the hallway carpets need to be replaced. We arrived late and were able to get bar food. We had a frozen pizza cooked for us plus chicken strips and poppers. It was just fine.

Terrible, don’t stay here unless you have to. Railing is terribly rusted, curtains and bedding have rips and holes. Service is ok.

A place to sleep but I’m going to go pay same rate at ramada for a pool side upgraded room.

I traveled here for work and stayed here because of the location and the things around. I don’t know if I have become snoody with the different hotels to stay at. Our company makes us keep budget under a certain amount… basically stating the playing field is the same for the hotels… and this one was not worth the money.

Off highway for easy commute
Great restaurants around it and down the road from the mall.

Outdated Rooms
Broken lamps
Loud air conditioning and loud vents
Broken side chair
Staff talked with eachother verses me when checking in
Rude room service ordering
Hotel is right next to a cabaret (yep same parking lot)
When visiting next time — I would stay more in chain, know by default, hotel. I will not stay here again purely out of the outdatedness.

This was pretty much my only option. I booked this by phone as I scrambled working in a nearby city. Was annoyed when I got there that there was a «manager special» lower rate available at the counter, but that was fine. Wireless internet was very spotty from the third floor. I never had time to try the breakfast.
The room was clean and quiet, and the service, other than the rate issue, friendly.
