I don’t have anything positive to say about this place, so I’ll keep this review brief. The food and the service is horrible. Life is too short to waste anytime here.

Waitress very sweet and accommodating. Food, not so great for me. I had the tacos that fell apart when I picked them up. Husband had the combo fajitas and said they were wonderful.

This is a cute little restaurant on Hwy 22. We spent last weekend at Lake Maurepas, so we decided to stop at Lagniappe on the way back. Their menu is extremely diverse, with seafood items, your typical hamburger/steak/chicken options, plus a Mexican and Italian section to the menu. Typically I would complain that they should narrow down the choices and focus on a few amazing selections… but since this is pretty much the only dine-in restaurant in the area, it’s good to offer a ton of options. They have a full bar too. The service was great, and the food was excellent. My in-laws ordered the seafood special, which consisted of fried shrimp and some other battered seafood. They liked it. I got the chicken, and Dann got the hamburger steak. Both were delicious. All of their entrees are served with a side item and a side salad. Nothing fancy about the salad, but it was good too. We’ll be back, should we find ourselves in need of a good meal after boating around the lake.
