L & L Demolition-Excavating

On the day they were scheduled to tear down my shed, a day for which i took off, they left a message at my work number at 9:05am to tell me they’d come tomorrow because another project ran over.
Naturally I didn’t know this since I was waiting for them at my home.
So when I called them at 9:45am, they said «well, uh, your phone message said you wouldn’t be back until tomorrow, so we didn’t come.» Of course I wouldn’t be back until the next day– I WAS WAITING AT HOME FOR YOU!
Two guys came the next day. Other than gloves, neither wore any safety gear. Two others eventually joined them, and they methodically disassembled the shed. but they couldn’t finish in one day. Couldn’t take another day off, so came home to find everything gone… Except 7 – 8 iron rods sticking out of the concrete slab. Can’t pu back the next day.
When I came home, the work was completed– almost. They left the seven iron rods sticking out of the concrete slab!
The demolition owner said maybe the new shed could use them! When i told him that wouldnt work, he said he’d come by and saw them off;
It’s a dirty job, and someone has to do it, so it’s not like there are a lot of choices.
