Steve Kunzi and the team at Jack Stoldt Auto Service Center are fine mechanics. But, what really elevates their service is that they are honest and charge fair rates. Moreover, I can tell you, from first-​hand experience, they stand by their work and will go above and beyond to ensure that your repairs are done correctly and fairly. At first blush, their business is to fix your car, but they do more than that. They provide integrity and a sense of security that can’t be bought or sold. But, maybe I’d be wrong to say you can’t buy these things, because you certainly get them at Jack Stoldt Auto Service Center.

The guys here are amazing. I was out if town from Chicago without steering. Steve Kunzi was so helpful and took great care of me. Thank you for all of your help!

Took my 2002 Focus to Stoldt’s after being given a $ 1080 estimate from Brahler on 6^th st. Long story short Stoldtz was on the same page as me. Fix my car. Make it safe. Don’t do more than is necessary. But do what is necessary. $ 380 later it was fixed.
I will not try Brahler again. I will definitely use Stoldtz again.

I took my vehicle in to have a few noises checked out and have the oil changed and tires rotated. Everything was fine. They called me as they looked at things and kept me updated on what was going on. They also pointed out other things they noticed. A couple bulbs burned out etc. Which is great. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because of this… One of the things they found was that my spare tire was swinging around a bit. (pickup truck). He called me and asked me if I wanted his mechanic to look at it and I said sure. When I went to pick up the truck, the bill showed that they hit me for $ 32 for lowering the spare, flipping it over, and raising it back up. I didnt realize having them «take a look» would mean a $ 32 charge for 6 minutes of work that I can do in my driveway. All in all, it was a good experience. I would recommend.

I’m a car guy and do a lot of my own work on my vehicles of which I always have several. I also care greatly about how my vehicles perform. Sometimes however I don’t have the time or the knowledge to fix them myself.
Jack Stoldt Service is as good as it gets. Over the years I have thrown numerous mechanical issues with them and they have been able to diagnose and repair every single one without a problem from simple to complex.
Only once did I have an issue with a repair where a part went bad after the initial replacement. They took care of this immediately without an further charges.
The prices are fair and consistent and are worth it. In this case, you get what you pay for and I mean that in a good way.
