IHOP

Came in tonight, around 10pm shift change just happened. The waiter that we ended up with was Richard. HE WAS FANTASTIC!!! A friend of mine asked for a smidge more of butter and he brought her out a smidge. LOL! (a regular serving also) he was a very friendly, very sweet and attentive waiter. I would recommend coming here and asking for him!

It’s IHOP what else can be said, the staff is friendly and they are fast, and what I ores was a lot bigger than I thought, why 3 stars cause it’s just a IHOP if most their menu items weren’t from frozen I’d give more stars

With Pancake in their name you’d except their pancakes to be extra special. Sorry to disappoint you but their pancake batter is just average & their syrups taste watered down. It was clean with friendly staff but their pricing is too high for what you get. Cracker Barrel has far better pancakes & syrups.

This particular IHOP is terrible!!! Service sucked, as well as the food. Poor quality in the kitchen. It was empty and our food took almost 30 minutes. I ordered the turkey and avacado bennie and received an omelet and pancakes. The omelet did have avacado on it, and I was so frustrated by that time that I ate what I got
Will NOT be coming back to this location.

Let me give you the scenario: there are a total of 4 tables. Waitress takes about 10 minutes to greet us. Brings drinks, asked if we want straws, but doesn’t have them on her??? Ok. Give her our order… its 50 minutes later, we still don’t have our food, the waitress hasn’t even come over to communicate with us about it and with every minute that passes I say to myself how I should have walked out 10 minutes ago. But the anticipation of my food coming up soon is what’s stopping me. I’m recalling now why I’ve only been here once in 2 years. Finally we get our food, half of it is cold, the other half isn’t even up yet. The rest comes out and it’s cold as well. Wait… we don’t even have silverware anyway. -.- the manager took my food off, rightfully so, but it took a longer than necessary conversation to do so. Won’t be back. Thanks for the experience Ihop!

I actually ordered my food to go. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed it was pretty clean compared to other IHOPs. The staff is friendly and my food was good and hot. I actually wished I had dined in after ordering!!!

I’ve actually never had a good IHOP experience which is why I’m posting this. I stayed at the Candlewood Suites next door and needed to grab something to eat with my son. I had the country fried steak and my son had the chocolate chip pancake off of the kid’s meal. The waitress was friendly and attentive and the food was good. I realize this isn’t a through the roof review but as far as IHOP goes, this is my first good experience, so worthy of a post

Do not eat at this location !!! I opened my napkin to dirty silverware which was no big deal so I asked for plastic ware. I ordered the smokehouse combo and discovered hair in my pancakes and under my sausage. When I told the waitress, she grab my plate and said I will get the manager as she walked away shaking her head. After sitting for almost 10 mins, I asked where is the manager. She walked away and yelled his name. He was walking around in the serving area in his coat. He walked to the table and I tried to explain to him that maybe they need to look at the dishes or something in the kitchen because hair was in my pancake plate as well as in my sausage plate. He said, I took the charges off and shrugged his shoulders. I explained to him that an apology would be nice and I said that I was going to call the corporate office. Again he shrugged his shoulders. I called the corporate office where I did get an apology. I will NEVER visit the Sunrise Drive location EVER AGAIN !!! So if you are thinking of eating at IHOP in Springfield, go to the Wabash location. The manager at the Wabash location is nice and will treat you as a guest.

Greasy food, crowded place, not the best service.
The plus, open 24 hours, a pot of coffee on the table.
