I was shopping at Pet Smart on Bechtel Ave. on Jan. 14th, 2012. The Humane Society has dogs there and the cats are there. As I walked by to see a cute dog in the cage awaiting to be adopted the volunteers just sat there. Didn’t say hi or can we help you or anything. I left and got my cat food and decided to donate to Clark County Humane Society. I went back to the table and donated some money in the jug they had set out. I didn’t even get a Thank you or a smile for that donation. I know it wasn’t a million dollars, but I felt every dollar or ten dollars helps. I will think twice about donating to the Humane Society again. I will give it to the Animal Welfare League.
