Harlee Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

So far– I have zero complaints.
My gram is 93 and has taken a few spills here and there. After short stays in the hospital, she heads over to the Manor where they put her through rehab and have planned activities that range from bingo to Olympic events (it was for the London 2012 games– super cute) and there’s a hair salon.
She’s been there three times in the past three years… I joke with my sister that she’s on retreat.
I know there are some horror stories with taking care of our geriatrics– but I always felt good about her being here.
Of course, she ended up with some batty (read: crabby) roommates, there is always that nurse that rough and tough (but has a heart of gold) and it smells a little of urine… but we’re also talking about patients (clients) who have issues with making it to the pot– these things are to be expected.
The five stars are PURELY because my gram is cared for and loved.
