The food was the worst thing if had in a long time. Pancakes were extremely dry. And the bacon was disgusting. I don’t recommend this place to anybody unless you are trying to get a laugh out of a lousy meal.

— Very quaint location that you can almost miss if driving by too fast. The restaurant has a «family own/operated» feel to it which adds to the authenticity of it. I had one of their mango + strawberry smoothies and it was very delicious. I also had their Chico Omelette. It was VERY good, which came with home fries and toast of choice. I would absolutely return here and recommend it to my friends.

I don’t know, I came here based on all the good reviews. The Texas corn pancakes were very good but my other items were just okay at best and the service was average to below average at best. Overall not the best value.

Unfortunately my experience at Felix’s was not so great. We were hoping to have found a nice local business to support but unfortunately won’t be returning. While Felix seems like a great person the food was not so great. We ordered two breakfasts one was waffles, eggs and sausage. The other was a sausage, hash brown and cheese omelette with an English muffin. The waffle was clearly made form pancake batter, the sausages were brown and serve(dollar a box) and the English muffin was extremely stale. The quality of food was definitely far below the prices at Felix’s.

If your not looking for décor, but looking for good food, good service, and good prices — then this is the place. Highly recommend it.

For those who know the area near the bus station these folks know of Chef Wayne’s Big Mamou which is a staple in Springfield but this spot which opened a little while ago is making it’s mark in terms of breakfast & sandwiches & also Puerto Rican dishes as well. The portions are enough to fill you up & the coffee is fresh & they keep you set. meals whether be a grinder, breakfast or a lunch including Puerto Rican style is to die for no doubt & gives you a taste of the commonwealth of Puerto Rico. This places’ prices are reasonable & worth every penny clearly. Come once & trust me you’ll get a taste of the island man.

Love this place. It’s a delicious choice for dinner/home cooked food. Way better than chain restaurants for breakfast.

I have such a soft spot for Felix’s. I am INLOVE with the Texas corn pancakes and wish I could eat them every weekend. Seriously. Great, low-key, no nonsense place for breakfast/brunch. Surprisingly decent coffee for a diner atmosphere. Staff is personable — exactly how you want to be treated at your neighborhood breakfast joint. Check it out!

Food was good. Not great. Prices were reasonable. Waitress had attitude and overall wasn’t very friendly. I felt like an annoyance and burden to her the whole time. Asked for Apple juice then changed my mind to orange, received apple juice. I had a California avocado sandwich but they were out of avocado. Boyfriend had the BBQ pulled pork, seemed to really like it.

Never knew about this place, what a wonderful surprise!!! Typically dinner atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Our table had the Texas corn pancakes with bacon. OMG very flavorful. Lots of bacon in them, perfect amount of corn. Sweet and filing. Could only eat two of the three they give you. Wife got the carrot cake pancakes. Lots of walnuts, Shredded carrot and raisins. Very good, but corn cakes where the best. Side order of hash had nice crisp topping with peppers in it and a good amount for a side order. Also tried the home fries. Served with onions and peppers added. Best home fries in the area. Not the usual boiled mess everyone has. If you haven’t tried this place because of the location you’re missing out on some good breakfast items. Glad I gave it a chance!

Fairly typical diner food in a very casual, borderline dingy atmosphere. The prices were high, but the outrageously sized portions made up for it! Overall a good meal, but nothing truly memorable to keep me coming back! Based on the other reviews I think lunch is a better option here!

Had breakfast here with my family before a basketball tournament and it was an old school Spanish greasy spoon and I say that as a compliment! The owners were very friendly and the food was awesome. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an old fashioned experience.

Nice server, coffee(New England brand) is good and refilled often. They warn you the corned beef hash is spicy, but it’s just a little kick! The breakfast wraps are HUGE! You can tell it’s a solid local place because the cops eat there! There is a definite Latino flavor to many of the menu items, which is popular, and the food is so fresh.

Ten minutes walk from the major hotels – come get a REAL breakfast for a decent price. Small venue with a diner-like environment. They have all the American breakfast standards: grits, meats, pancakes, eggs, etc. along with a few interesting new specials. I tried the carrot cake pancakes and they are amazing! Full of raisins, shredded carrot and walnut halves. Portions are generous. We will definitely come again.

Want a great breakfast this morning without waiting for an hour? You know the drill you stand in Memo’s for 60 min with a baby in you arms and toddlers getting impatient. Skip it. Felix’s Is right next to Big Mamous in springfield Ma. We walked in and picked a seat. We had juce and coffee in about 2 minutes. Our server was polite and efficient. I had an egg, cheese and bacon sandwich on an english muffin with a side of home fries. The bacon was crispy The egg was tender The peppers in my crispy home fries were fresh The coffee was hot with zero bitter flavor Check these guys out! Michael Oberther

Stopped in for Sunday breakfast. It was initially empty and service was quick, server was quite nice. We ordered a Chico omelet and Greek omelet. The Greek omelet came out half cooked, totally runny inside. They threw it on the grill and finished cooking it. The Chico omelet was cooked through the first time. Both were tasty — nothing incredible, but solid. It got a little busier and service slowed down, with the waitress ignoring us for a bit, which was annoying as we wanted to get on the road to Mount Greylock. Overall, not great but not bad

I was in MA for work and decided to use Unilocal for find a place to eat breakfast. No car so I was walking. This place is located near the post office and bus station so if you’re walking don’t be surprised if people ask you for money. It was a about a 7 – 10 min walk for me but worth it! I had«The Big Breakfast» eggs, pancakes, and sausage. Everything was delicious! The sausage looked like it was something you would buy in the grocery store and microwave, but it didn’t taste bad, it was actually good. Pancakes were a nice size but I could only eat 2. With coffee my bill was $ 9.00 which I thought was a good price. Many locals come here based on my observation. Only myself and 1 other person didn’t talk to Felix the cook whom I am assuming is also the owner. He was nice even came from behind the counter after cooking to refill my coffee. The décor is 1970’ish but very clean so it’s o.k. It fits for that part of town. Would definitely come back again for breakfast.

Did you happen to see all the five star reviews this joint has? There’s a reason for it. Indeed, Felix’s Breakfast and Sandwich shop is a hidden gem in Springfield, MA. Good quality coffee, delicious food, a very clean establishment, by far the best service I’ve received since… since Phở Vinh but that doesn’t count cause that’s like my second home. but anyway… Their menu is extremely creative. I had the pleasure of enjoying their Texas corn pancakes and it went above and beyond my expectations, I’m still thinking about how good they were even as I write this! It’s kind of what us Southerners call Johnny cakes except it was the best I’ve tasted.(yes I admit it) Everything is made from scratch, even the pancake batter and you can tell from the taste. The whole kernels of corn in the batter tasted very fresh and they chop the bacon(or sausage, I had bacon) and place it over the pancake while it’s cooking so you get the soft interior of the pancake itself and then the crispiness of the bacon. It is then dusted with powdered sugar so you get this explosion of sweet, salty, soft, crispy deliciousness in every bite. OHHOW I WISH!!! They were located here in Orlando, I would eat breakfast there every day. You get three large tasty cakes for 6.99(see pic) So delicious and so filling that you’re still full hours later. The service is outstanding; they make you feel like a guest in their cozy family home. You must stop by here if you’re in the area, you will not regret it.
