I am a big fan of this Old World German style bakery and restaurant serving breakfast and lunch only. The breads, rolls and pastries are straight from the «Motherland» made fresh daily; I particularly like the fact that the baked goods are not overly sweet which is in keeping with European style bakeries. Breakfast sandwiches are served on homemade water rolls which are out of this world, fresh, squishy and oh so tasty. There are a few tables for dining in but it can get very busy quickly, if you are looking for that cute perfect little breakfast or bakery spot which is out of the ordinary, Elke’s ought to suit you fine, it does me.

Huge western omelet loaded with ham, peppers & onions. Breakfast sandwich on fresh water roll. Unlimited coffee. Friendly people. Cute interior (& I bet it gets packed!). Baked goods to bring home. Oh my.
I really like the bacon, egg & cheese sandwich because, unlike the norm, here they make the bacon & egg into a mini omelet. Unique & tasty. We’ll be back to sample new things for sure.
