Culver’s

Ok my wife and I have eaten here on more than one occasion. We ate here last night before going grocery shopping. We ate, went grocery shopping then went home. After a couple hours both my wife and I were feeling stomach pains, and diarrhea, that still seems to be affecting us this morning. Only I can think of is the burgers did seem extra greasy, but we’ve eaten here many times in the past, so not sure what’s going on. The place was clean, the employees were all nice, and pleasant as always. If anyone from Culver’s reads this, you might want to check your food or the food preparation from this store at around 6pm on Friday, January 8^th 2016.

Pretty nice meal. Kids love it. I don’t care for the green beans because they are mushy like they’ve been cooked too long. Love their rueben and cheese curds. Not a big fan of ice cream.

I’ve never been so disgusted with an entire meal. Usually there’s at least one highlight, but I got ancient chicken coated in salt, cold green beans soaking in sugar, and reheated mashed potatoes again drenched in salt. I found myself grateful they forgot my roll after I tasted the horror set before me. I’ve never wanted to lick my own armpit before, but I was so close. Anything to get that taste out of my mouth. Even deodorant sounded like a better option.

Excellent burgers. Fries and cheese curds were great– friendly staff. Only small downside the Ranch dipping sauce was average at best. Great experience.

I’m from Los Angeles and this place is like Farmer Boy’s, but only slightly better. It’s like a classier way to do fast food. Some nice food items are the frozen custards and the fried cheese balls. I had the following:
— Cheese burger — bland but filling. ³⁄₅
— Frozen Custard — it’s texture was similar to a vanilla shake but tasted like the flavor was diluted or watered down. No rich, dairy flavor. 3.5÷5
— Cheese balls — also bland. hardly any flavor. ²⁄₅
I would like to give this ³⁄₅ stars because the flavor just wasn’t there, but for the speedy service, fast food prices and exceptional service I’m giving this ⁴⁄₅.

Well it was okay and I agree the bathrooms are clean. It kind of reminded me of food from the frozen freezer section. Green bean super salty and over cooked. If you like box food you will love this place.

Let’s face it — it’s fast food. But this Culver’s has the friendliest service I’ve encountered at a fast food restaurant so I felt the need to review! My husband and I stopped in late in the evening before heading out of town, and the staff was still friendly, energetic & positive. We had a large order of Wisconsin cheese curds to share and they were (admittedly very unhealthy) fried cheese perfection with a container of creamy ranch dipping sauce. The dining room was absolutely spotless and on a cold & rainy January night we sat next to the fake fireplace which made for a cozy break. Definitely miles beyond the atmosphere of typical fast food, making the slightly higher burger & custard prices seem in line with the overall value here. The kicker for my trip was visiting the very clean, modern — dare I say stylish — ladies restroom which happened to have REAL fresh flowers provided (as advertisement) by a local florist. They were so gorgeous I fought the urge to steal them for my own!

Love this place! I tried it for the first time today and I LOVE IT. I had the grilled chicken sandwich, chicken was a little on the dry side but only a couple of bites. Fries were crispy but not overly crunchy. I was too full to get any ice cream, so next time I go, I’ll update the review and we’ll see how it goes!

Culver’s is just a great place to go if you have no idea what you want to eat. It’s not quite a sit-​down restaurant (with sit-​down prices and the time-​commitment expected), but is has more variety, and better tasting and better feeling food than typical fast-​food. Want a homey meal? Get dat pot roast and green beans. On a diet? Try the salads you weirdo. Intense «I have not eaten since yesterday» cravings? They have some of the most delicious burgers you can get through a drive-​thru, though expect a small wait at the drive-​thru. Want something different? Try their pork-​tenderloin sammich.
And their frozen custard? Smooth and perfect. Actually perfect.
Also they have ketchup in those squeeze & dip packets and I feel that’s worth mentioning.

the fried chicken dinner is inexpensive and 1 of the best. its also made to order. And you can’t go wrong with the Reuben always a classic.

Fast and Friendly. It’s a warm summer day and they seen that I had a pet in the car and gave him some vanilla ice cream with a bone. Will return next time I’m in town.

Great food, the service might not be the same at every location but the food is always hot and fresh!

This Culver’s gets the fast food 4 star+. This place is for sure on the upper echelon of quick service restaurants. I don’t understand some of the other reviews here — they all speak of butter burgers and fries. Yeah they are very good here with unique cheese. Every order is made to order. I would not recommend wasting your experience here on a burger. They offer so much more that is so much better.
They have prime rib sandwiches, pork tenderloin sandwiches, cod sandwiches, fried chicken, and my favorite; the pot roast sandwich with the Wisconsin cheese curds. Just fantastic and seasoned right. Remember every order is made to order, so it comes out smoking hot every time.
They also have a full line of salads, sides, and soups instead of the fries. My favorite sides include the green beans, (real)mashed potatoes with gravy, and of course, the cheese curds with marinara. My favorite soups are the broccoli cheddar, tomato florentine, and the chili supreme which is pretty good for a fast food joint. They offer a different soup menu daily along with a different flavor of the day with their frozen custard. Try them all. They are a 13% butterfat and loaded with goodies.
The employees go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience and the bathrooms are always clean. I would recommend this Culver’s to anyone!

Once in a while, if I’m at Target, I will swing through Culvers and get a small serving of frozen custard. It’s a treat.

Culver’s does make a pretty good burger, and my wife LOVES their chicken strips. I’ve not been in the actual restaurant, but have been through the drive through a couple of times now.
They make each burger to order from fresh, not frozen, beef. So after you pull up to the window and pay, if it’s busy, they will give you a number and have you pull forward to wait for them to deliver your order. I have no problem waiting for made to order food. We have never had to wait too long either.
The burgers themselves are pretty good. Nice and juicy, but not stellar. The fries are fantastic. They are crinkle cut fries that are nice and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Since this is my review, I’m going with a 3 star A-​OK place. If it were up to the Wife it would be at least 4 stars. I have had no problems with the place and would recommend you give it a try!

I’m from CA and I wish there was a Culver’s over here. The food was amazing. The cheese had a distinct taste that made the burgers taste so much better. And the frozen custard made my visit that much better. Want to go there again when I get a chance.
