CS Auto Service

I came into CS Collision for an estimate on a damaged but drivable car. I needed a new bumper a new headlight and some other body work. 2 other body shops within a quarter mile of the shop quoted me $ 1600 and 1800 for parts and labor. This shop quoted me $ 4411.
Not only that when I entered the shop, not one person was at the front, I had to yell out hello to get some one to help me and after I said that there was no insurance on the car, he became very rude and basically did not want to give me free estimate. I asked for it anyway and he then proceeded to spend 2 – 3 minutes looking at the car whereas the previous 2 shops spent 15 minutes looking at the car.
After he gave me the quote, I gave him a very surprised look and I said really and he then he said yeah very expensive and then I said forget it this was a waste of my time and then he said this was a waste of his time an then we had a few more words and I left.
I cannot talk about other people’s experiences but this was by far one of the worse auto shops I have ever been. It was obvious the shop never bothered to look at what was wrong with the car and was just marking things up just to waste my time and get me out the door. If you do not want to give free estimates on cars where there is no insurance company that you can charge whatever you want to, please say that on your sign.
I hope AAA and all the insurance companies stop giving you business and give it to the much more legitimate and thorough shops that are within spitting distance of your shop.

Brought my car here because AAA recommended it after it was in an accident. Seemed like it was fixed okay when I picked it up, but the very next day I noticed some steering issues. I did not bring it in for a while, because this place is not close to me. When I did bring it in, I was greeted with rudeness. Instead of letting them fix the issues, I brought my car into a shop I trust, and they said that some of the junkyard parts that CS collision put in my car were of poor quality and were already failing.

Whenever you have a light come on in your car… One of the first things that may come to mind is… «How much am I gonna get ripped off this time…» Well not if you deal with these guys…
I had to get my airbag light looked at. There was nothing wrong with my airbag but there was a short in the cord which was making my light come on… I had it at another shop and they sent me to these guys to make sure that it was done right and that I would get a fair price. I had also took my car to the Toyota dealership in fairfax and they quoted me $ 1000+… This place fixed my issue for $ 151…
They are very professional and proficient… I highly recommend them!

I have used CS for everything from the car being totaled to a small accidents. They are used by our insurance company and are one of the best ever. They gave me a relatively speedy estimate over my lunch hour and they communicate well. In each case work was done in about a week and was really beautiful. Never a problem after the fact.

My car was brought to the Collision Center after it was involved in a pretty bad crash. I have AAA and although this shop was a bit out of the way from where I was living, I’m glad I had my car towed here for it’s repair.
These guys did a speedy but HIGH quality work on my car. Few months after I got my car back it made it through a trip from VA to CA and I’m about to make that trip back again.
I highly recommend this place, the managers of the Collision office and shop are nice and kept in good contact through the process of repairing my car. I’m planning on going back here to have some paint work done, if they offer it.

There’s no way to give a 0 star rating for no service, hence 1 start (more then they deserve). A friend recommended this place, so I made an appointment and drove 30 miles out of the way to this shop in morning traffic… When I got there, I was told that the only mechanic that can do that particular job is «out today». Never mind my appointment or even a call back to let me know not to come. They scrambled to find possibly another mechanic, but then turned out the didn’t have the part I needed either. Awful!

I was in an accident and I took my car to CS Auto. Very helpful and kept me informed of the progress. Mark worked very closely with my insurance company. My car looks great.

I took my car in for a safety inspection and oil change. The only phone call I received was to inform me that my car was ready. When I arrived, they said the car’s air filter was replaced, at a cost of ~$ 20 (plus labor). I was not informed that this work would be done, and I definitely did not ask for it to be done. Never trust a mechanic that does things to your car before asking and getting permission to do it.
Edit to respond to comment below: My main point is that no work should be performed without previously obtaining a customer’s permission, which was not asked for nor given. If I was not available to answer my phone, why not leave a message asking if this work could be performed? The only message I received informed me that the car was ready.
It is true that CS Auto showed me a dirty air filter (which may or may not have come from my car) and offered to take out the new filter. I did not have any additional time to wait so I said not to bother.

Great shop. I highly recommend them. After having several items misdiagnosed they told me the straight scoop and saved me a ton of cash. See TJ and he will definitely give you the real deal.

Great service, in the front office as well as the shop. We have taken many cars there for repair. Just recently our son was hit in a parking lot and we took it to CS auto for a new car door and paint work. They were great to deal with and easy!!! I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a shop for insurance as well as any body work. The gentleman my husband talked to was very nice and really went out of his way to fix things that needed fixing like realinging the trunk. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your great customer service!!!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST COLLISION SHOP IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA! Repaired my vehicle after a run in with deer, my car looked better then new once they were done. Shawn and his staff are very meticulous throughout the repairing process. They call you every step of the way from stripping down the car to it’s ready for pickup! Enterprise is three doors down if you need a rental, they also have an office in the shop!
