this is the best liquor store in Springfield. no bums hanging around outside, friendly staff, very knowledgeable staff too. if they don’t have it they will order if for you. Very clean store. like I said no bums to walk through. clean shopping center too… thank you

Crowded, small selection, rude staff.
Only been once and won’t be back as my experience echoes what the others have posted. A line quickly formed when people were waiting for the old guy checking people out, but he took his sweet time talking to one of the employees in front of the counter, blocking the patrons from paying. It didn’t help that the place barely has space for a line anyway.
I read had read the other reviews so I wanted to get in and get out, but we had sampled a vodka and wanted to buy it, so I had to ask behind the counter for a half bottle. The owner said, «I thought so!» for no real reason. If you work in a customer oriented business and manage to be abrasive with the first sentence to come out of your mouth to a first time customer, you deserve some sort of reward. That reward is a one-​star review.

2 girls working-​they were very nice and helpful. the place was clean and surprisingly busy… I thought it was a handy location because we live out in Coburg and it’s on the way home.

This is by far the BEST place in town to get liquor. DO NOT be fooled by the previous reviews, they are very old and about someone who no longer worlds there. The staff is extremely helpfully and cheery. It is always stocked and clean. All around I love this shop and will keep going back for years to come. Hope to see you there and safe drinking :)

My wife has requested I Unilocal this piss poor establishment after numerous times of laziness and rudeness. *this is the liquor store off beltline behind AM/​PM and Shari’s*
My wife will SOMETIMES stop by this liquor store to grab a bottle on the way home. After Unilocaling with some folks in Las Vegas, we discovered a new drink called a «Diablo». Tequila, Crème de Cassis, lime and ginger ale. My wife was looking for the crème de cassis the other night and was trying to explain it to the short lil runt behind the counter. He replied repeatedly, «I don’t know! I don’t know! Don’t know where it is!» My wife became so frustrated and irritated with his lack of ambition to help out that she told him, «FINE! I’ll go to the liquor store off Coburg since they know what they’re doing!» As my wife left the store the little jerk didn’t even care, no eye contact, no «I’m sorry, let me be a help to you» NOTHING! That was her little experience…
I’ve been in there 2 times. Both times were close to closing time. The first time I was greeted with a «WE CLOSE IN 5 MINUTES». Geeee no shit? I can read just fine… and due to your lil neon sign that says «OPEN» in bright red, I had a hunch (I didn’t say that, but definitely thought it). I knew exactly what I wanted, got my bottle, and when I got to the counter I said, «Hey, sorry for cutting it close…» I had the reply, «I just don’t get it, people know we close at 8 and they come in at 7:45 and 7:50» Well dumb ass… I’m one of those people as of right now… I was in the area and it was convenient (again, that’s what I was thinking and not saying).
My 2^nd visit I did the same thing, I was at a friends house that was close to that liquor store. On my way back my wife called and said, Get more Tequila!!! I knew once again I would be cutting it close, but I shouldn’t have to worry about getting an ass chewing for getting booze from a store that sells it 10 min before they close.
So I entered the store and sure as shit, «we’re closing in 10 min» This time I spoke my mind, «Should I leave then? Am I being a bother to you? I don’t wanna hold you up 10 minutes before you close.» With a surprised look on his face he simply said, «no.»
There’s ways to sugar coat that your closing and you can still be polite… here’s an example (hoping that you find this review!)…Hi there Sir/Ma’am! Just so you know we do close at 8 o’clock but feel free to take your time and find what you need. DUDE, is it that hard to be kind to your CUSTOMERS? If I had an employee that treated my customers that way I would fire them on the spot with a swift kick in the ass on the way out.
Congrats you lil jerk! You lost damn good customers and now I get to share it with the Unilocaling community.
