I’m a technology consultant who lives locally. I was in a pinch and needed to pick up a new power supply for a client of mine. I knew exactly what I was getting so I picked it up and brought it to the counter. It took them literally 10 mins to ring me up for this one item. I could have walked to Best Buy, bought the item and been on my way in the time it took for them to complete the transaction. It was painful. The other thing that annoyed me was that the associate started asking me for my name .etc to enter me in the system. I stopped him after he got my name when he asked for my number. I mentioned to him that I was in a rush to respond to a client of mine that lives an hour away. He did not try to make the transaction faster at all. Instead he just looked around on his computer like he was lost. These guys are supposed to know computers and should know their system. If they are not well trained to ring up customers efficiently, then shadow them until they’ve GOTIT! I won’t be in a rush to return here after this excruciatingly bad service. Make it a goal to train your register operators better with some customer service training. Computer & Network Paramedics Inc could do better in the retail area. I’ll be going somewhere that does from now on. For the record I don’t know of their reputation for their computer repairs service so I’m hoping that this is the area in which they excel most.
