I agree with Jeremy w., I stopped in and asked if they had a common part and the old geezer working there acted as if I peed in his cheerios and barked at me saying he never saw any part like i described, yet the part it on almost every chainsaw. It leads me to wonder if these monkeys have ever taken one apart? Any way this could be just this one employee so ill give them another shake and see if its a pattern.

I have been buying saws, chains, oil, trimmers and getting small engine work done here for 20 years. When they repair something it is fixed I have never had an issue. I use Stihl saws and trimmers so they don’t need much but parts do wear over time. With Stihle there is not much negotiation on price so I pick the dealer based on their service. These guys can keep the confounded honda engine on my power washer running. I did not buy it from them and will not own anymore Honda powered equipment but Carpenter’s get’s it up and running quickly and inexpensively. I don’t go in to visit but I have found them, to be knowledgeable and helpful when I have a question. I have not regretted following their advice on anything.

Apparently, buying a chainsaw file isn’t enough to get friendly service. I won’t be back!
