Definitely a hole in the wall! Plan on no acknowledgement when you walk in the door — OK, I don’t need a maitre d’ and can sit myself. Just don’t make me wait for 10 minutes to come over and take my order especially after waiting on people who came in after me(no they were not swamped)! Breakfast was OK — not the best I’ve ever had, but not the worst either. Apple fritters were good, but a little dark. Scrambled eggs were OK — really good scrambled eggs are made in a skillet, not poured out onto a griddle! Biscuit was grilled, so it was hot and tasty. I love good pie, so we might go back sometime for pie.

Small, quaint, and cozy. If you believe that the best food comes from Hole in the Wall places, then CoCo’s is for you. Some of the best diner food you’ll find, hands down. We’ve tried and soundly recommend the burgers(hubs says its one of the best flavored burgers around), meatloaf, horseshoe, breakfast tacos, and omelettes. Oh and the Bloody Mary is a fine version for those mornings when a little hair of the dog(and some good diner food) will bring you back to the land of the living. And I haven’t even mentioned the pies. Try a slice. Of any of them. Just try the pie.

Café coco provided 33 dozen mini pies and a dozen full-size pies for my wedding… they were excellent! Everyone had rave reviews. Delicious and reasonably priced. Connie is very sweet and easy to work with when it comes to «pie catering»

Awesome little diner! Went here on our way out of Springfield back to Chicago. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but nice diner on the inside. Waitress was awesome and brought out some fresh apple fritters right away for our 3 kids. They were awesome! Quick service and friendly. Above average diner breakfast fare and decent coffee. Kids even loved the light up faucets in the bathroom and posing with some gorgeous Harleys outside. Overall the best dining experience we had in our road trip. Thank you!

Love this little diner! Though they have 2 locations I love dining at the small place on Dirksen. I’ve been here several times for lunch and breakfast. Food is tasty and affordable. The owner even makes homemade pies. Love them so much they were a huge hit at my wedding last year.

Where do I start. I came down from Chicago to celebrate a relative’s birthday and we came here not 1, not 2, but 3 mornings — what can I say good food and convenient. The BREAKFASTTACOS are DELICIOUS, INCREDIBLE, EXCELLENT! The portion is large with 3 tacos and sides. Just thinking about them is getting me hungry. If you have not tried them — DOIT — you will not be sorry. What a huge selection of pies. I had to try a slice. I had the banana crème and it reminded me of those my mother used to make. I truly could not believe the selection… chocolate, banana, blueberry, what is Elvis pie? On the last visit for breakfast, I ended up taking a Coconut Cream Pie home to share at the office. I didn’t order ahead and there were a few pies to choose from. The pie was a big thumbs up from everyone that had a slice. Some people came back for another piece! Yummy! The Shrimp Poorboy looked great and I didn’t see on the Lunch Specials until after I had ordered and began eating. I’ll be back in town and try that next time. Friendly service, large portions, great tasting food — what more can you ask for! You can belly up to the bar or sit at a table.
