Build A Bear Workshop

Wow, I can’t believe I am saying this — but my 8 year old loves the 2 ladies (One is the Assistant Manager) and they remembered her!
And even better? The limited edition «My Little Pony» was only $ 5 (It’s 25.00 normally) once we stacked all our gift cards and discounts. (Actually $ 6.50 or so with tax.)

Great service at this BABW location — and wonderful staff — who are still there since February and (at least acted like) they remembered my DD.

I used to avoid this place thinking it would be an expensive waste of time. Last weekend, I found out i was wrong.
When you’re walking through the mall with a young child, it’s tough to get by build a bear without some pretty crafty distraction techniques. Until recently, I had successfully avoided getting sucked into the build a bear vortex. But last weekend, looking to kill some time and have some fun with my boy, I gave in. I was thinking that I was in for at least $ 40 but he’d have fun and get a decent quality bear out of it. Well it was only $ 16 and worth it. My son enjoyed the building process along with the computer registration exercise and he got a nice stuffed penguin to take home. The people were very friendly despite the repetitive nature of their job. One woman said she is a preschool teacher during the week then works at this place on the weekends. That takes a special kind of person.
I’d reccomend this place to parents of young chiildren.
