YUM! Stopped here on a trip through Missouri. Food was very, very good. Waiter was excellent. Local beer was good. Décor is exceptional. If in Springfield we will go again!

Very calming and clean inside! wonderful server. Prices are a little high but our food was good! However coffee is gross, I wouldn’t suggest it. it was pretty bad… Server was very nice and checked on us the right amount :)

Fun place, attentive waitress, would have been 5 stars if wife didn’t find a hair in her meatloaf tartine.

Don’t waste your time or money. This place is just as bad as the downtown one. If it wasn’t for the fact my sister in law works there I would never step foot in here. Way too over priced, snooty pretentious staff, not much good to say about the food either.

Wow, what can I say but amazing meal. Started with a wonderful salad and ended with a amazing crêpe. By far the best thing on my trip thru Missouri. Must come and try if you are in town.

Amazing food, great service, beautiful venue. If we lived in the area, this would be our favorite place! I had the chocolate crepes, and my husband had the In The Morning crepes with Pomme Frites. Amazing Pomme Frites with truffle aioli! We were there Saturday morning for the farmers market and had a great time. The check was delivered in a French Children’s book :) Great experience !!

Delicious! We stopped here for lunch on our way from the airport to Arkansas and absolutely loved everything about it! The décor and atmosphere was charming, even on a busy Sunday afternoon. The menu was fantastic, although difficult to decide which item to order. The food was amazing! All 4 in our party went for something different and we were all very happy with what we got. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food. I will be sure to eat here every time I am in Springfield! I just wish we had one in Phoenix.

I went with a group of coworkers. Food was amazing! Everyone ordered different things and no complaints at all. Food is fresh and innovative. Staff was excellent without being overly intrusive. The 417 dinner special included 3 courses and all were fabulous. I highly recommend the bacon jam with goat cheese appetizer.

I was so excited to try this place because they have my favorite thing, crepes and gluten free too! Well I was disappointed with the crêpe, is was definitely a thick pancake and not a thin, light crêpe. But they kindly gave me my meal for free. Everything else we had we loved! Brussels sprout crisps, truffle frites and the atmosphere was a mix of Central Perk and France! I will go back again just not for the crepes!

My wife had eaten here previously and loved it. Knowing how hipster the place was, I admit, I had my skepticism initially. My wife and I originally came here one weekend wanting lunch, but when we got there, we realized they were only serving brunch on the weekends. We were both in the mood for lunch, so we initially said we would just leave and come back during the week, but decided to look at a menu first. Turns out, we’re both very glad we decided to give it a chance. We’ve since gone back many times over the past couple months, and all but one of those times was during the weekend, now. I’ve tried many different savory breakfast crepes on the menu and so far have liked every one I’ve tried. The atmosphere is interesting, with a bit of an eclectic feel to it, but the overall hipster-ness tying it all together.

In the über-hyped SoSpring Corredor you might just think you’ve strolled into a Parisian flea-market in St.-Ouen what with French farm tables & faux antique linens everywhere. Au contraire, as the delightful culinary creations that await bring you to the observation that this spot is a crêperie cotillion! For a lighter knosh, order the Stack Salad. A leaning Tower of Pisa of apple slices layered with a Gorgonzola cheese mixture between. Think lasagna – but taste divinity! As an hors d’oeuvres, I recommend the pungent smoked salmon with luscious crème fraise & briny caviar on rye toast which was flawlessly fried crispy on the outer edges remaining pillowy inside! Or munch on their umami bacon jam bruschetta. Always a fav is the Black & Bleu Crêpe with succulent steak tips & Gorgonzola. To finish try the Sea Salted Caramel Crêpe(which immediately takes me to the crêperie at the base of the Eiffel Tower) or any number of the offerings in their sister shoppe connected next door in the Patisserie! Points taken for doe-eyed stares when I requested to hear Edith Piaf on their Spotify system. Alas, no «La vie en rose…» Viva la France & SoSpring, too!

Love Aviary! I recently visited for my first time and was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, the staff was VERY professional and super friendly. I definitely see myself going back to experience the menu as often as can. There were a decent amount of options for everyone to enjoy. The drinks were fantastic as well! I unfortunately didn’t get to try any of the savory crepes, but WILL be returning to get my fill of those! I highly recommend Aviary to anyone looking for a unique and sweet experience. You definitely will enjoy your visit and will see it become one of your favorites!

Out of ll the breakfast diners that litter Springfield, Im glad I decided to eat here. Although they have a tiny menu, this place is awesome. I ordered the Crêpe Lorraine and it was quite delicious. Some bites were almost blissful! The fruit they provide is good, but its not amazing. My friend ordered an omelette, and it was probably the fluffiest egg I’ve ever tasted. That egg could have floated among the clouds with how fluffy it was. My fried had sauteed apples for her side, and I was jealous I didn’t order it. I ordered a croissant on the side, and it was ok. It wasn’t flaky or as dense as I wanted. The atmosphere is wonderfully quaint, including the knick knacks and french books they use as credit card holders.

Amazing! Let’s start with coffee — Cappuccino — the expresso is not strong enough for my taste other it’s okay. Café bonbon — if u like sweet coffee this is what you want to get. I would strongly recommend visiting their patisserie section and ordering some stuff. You can pay together for your food and pastries/baked items. Apricot croissant — as delicious as you can find in the state. Canelle was good too. The au chocolat is perfect to pair with a shot of espresso or cuppa. I ordered the crêpe Loraine which was good but not outstanding. For sides their pomme frites are a must try. Overall it’s a great place for brunch in a relatively small university town.

We are big fans of the Aviary. They get high marks all around for menu choices, food quality, atmosphere, and service. I loved learning at the last Official Unilocal Event that some of their ingredients are actually grown on site at this location in Farmer’s Park. My mom, sister, and I recently visited for lunch. We decided to have sandwiches and then share a dessert crêpe. The sandwiches were all great, but the real show stopper was the limoncello crêpe, which was possibly the best dessert I have ever had, ever. This is significant considering I am a chocolate addict and there is no chocolate in this dessert. But, it is that good. I cannot recommend it enough. Go there. Get it. Rejoice.

What a great find! We love french bakeries and this place hits the spot. Very good coffee and tons of pastry choices. We have only tried a couple, but will definitely try more the next time. We also haven’t tried the restaurant side, but I can’t wait to try it for lunch one day soon. Their food looks so amazingly delicious!

An extension of the Aviary Café and Creperie, my husband and I stopped into their little shop for a few pastries and coffee before heading home. Ordered a couple of mochas, a cinnamon roll, pain au chocolate, and a cherry danish. While the coffee was slightly above average(I needed to add some raw sugar to make it sweet enough for me), the pastries were to die for. Super fresh, expertly made, and so very very delicious. I wanted to savor my danish, but it was impossible. Just divine. We were also given a mini canoli to sample as they just came out of the oven and there were a few extra. This had great flavor and was just a nice, sweet bite. It’s probably a good thing my husband and I don’t live in Springfield or else we’d be here constantly, getting fat on pastries. And I could probably learn to appreciate the coffee a little better because it certainly wasn’t bad — just needed a little extra sugar boost since that is how I prefer it. If you are on the lookout for the best bakery in Springfield, you’ve found it at the Aviary. Also, be sure to check out their café for breakfast and/or lunch/dinner. Always delicious!
