Social Quarters is a nice place. Small group of friendly regulars. Pros — discount Happy Hour prices starting at 11:30 plus serves bar food from 4 – 8 every day except Friday. 6 taps, one local micro brew — Fair Winds IPA. Cons — smoking.

Decided to check out the warrior café here at the American Legion, being it’s so close to my house. Yes I will be coming back, the best burger I have had in a while, great family atmosphere, many friendly people and open to the public. Very affordable and super delicious! Wife and youngest had the Buffalo chicken wrap as well said it was tasty. I will have to come back and try the breakfast another time:)

I had an opportunity to attend a holiday function at the Warrior Café. Great staff, good down home cookin’, huge portions and so very affordable. Feed yourself and support a good organization.
Warrior Café — Is open to the general public Monday through Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. offering Breakfast and Lunch. Sunday Café hours begin is 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Fri night Dinner 5:30 to 7:30pm

Was invited to a Christmas luncheon hosted by Chapter 353 VA at the Warrior Café. Enjoyed the event — the staff was very attentive and the food was great — my burger and fries were cooked to perfection.

I didn’t even know they still served food… What a nice surprise. Cheap, and better then what you would get at your usual breakfast/​lunch café. My son loved the blueberry pancakes for lunch! Reminded me of trips to the American Legion with my Grandpop way back in the day.
