709 Cut Rate Package Liquor Store

Gerry Gardner, owner of 709 Liquors, likes to advertise that his employees «all vote, pay taxes and speak English as their only language.»
First of all: He’s kidding, right? Is he really admitting his xenophobia in a local radio commercial? I am sure he means «no Spanish» so I’d like to go in and try out my Russian on him. Hey Gerry, this country, MY country, has NO official language. So deal with it.
Secondly, voting is a right but not a requirement to live in this country. If Mr. Gardner’s employees vote in every election on their own accord, that is great. But I sure hope he doesn’t pressure his staff to go vote.
Finally, I don’t know about taxes. Do they pay their payroll taxes? Sure because Mr. Gardner’s business sends it right to Uncle Sam. This is the only point in his commercials which may not sound crazy, but still is no reason to go to his establishment.

All I know is that this business is run by racists that actually insult bilingual people in their radio advertisements.
