Best pastrami hero in the area. Tuesday is Sandwich day for the guys in my department. The Pastrami King, Las is the top choice for these hungry guys. And that’s saying a lot. The have a nice menu of options. Breakfast is also pretty good too.

The food is overpriced and sucks. And they can afford to suck because they are the ONLY food place in the immediate vicinity! They don’t even try. I come in the morning and lunch is already sitting in the hot food trays, and it pretty much sits there all day. The pastries sit there for weeks at a time. Your best bet for not getting sick is to get something that they have to cook to order, like a breakfast sandwich, or a panini, though I’m not sure I’d take my chances with a «grade pending» health inspection grade. Just bring your own lunch to work. Cheaper, and tastes better, I’m sure.

A nice variety of food. Unfortunately, its pretty much the same dishes every day. Hot food is $ 5.99/pound and salads/fruit/cold food is $ 5.49/pound. They also carry Boars head deli meat.

Q & N Deli is located right by the TSA office near JFK. I could see why TSA employees enjoy coming here so much because they’re so stupid. People around JFK kept recommending this spot to me for lunch so I gave it a shot. The food sucks. It’s $ 5.99 per pound. I had a little bit of rice, a chicken leg, some meatballs, mushrooms, sausage and peppers, and some fake crab meat wrapped in bacon. The presentation looks good. Their facility looks pretty clean and well organized. The problem is that they don’t label anything. The crab meat wrapped in bacon, I seriously thought it was a nice piece of jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon but instead it was that disgusting cheap rubbery frozen crab meat. The chicken was disgusting. It was drenched in some kind of sweet sauce. Every piece of chicken was heavy as hell. The mushrooms sucked, sausage and peppers were okay, and the meatballs were so-so. Verdict — I prefer the deli that is around my office. Cost less and they make better chicken cutlet. And for $ 10 bucks, I can get a lot more.
