Foo-An Kitchen

Im always skeptical to try new Chinese restaurants, but absolutely no complaints with this place. I ordered the chicken and broccoli with white rice and the food was delicious, fresh, and piping hot. Only thing is they dont deliver, but I’m only 2 minutes aways so worth the walk/​drive. The man at the front is also very nice. Found my new Chinese spot!

Neighborhood is a little hardcore. You know the kind of hardcore that random people are just «hanging out» on the block and kind of slink by,. watching you and eye-​balling you. The place is a more then rundown inside. Graffiti on walls and bullet proof glass protecting them speaks volumes. Unilocal said «Good» and they got an A rating so I gave it a try.
Guy behind counter was polite enough. I ordered Hunan Chicken lunch special with Wonton Soup to go. Came out fast. $ 6 flat with no tax added. I like that.
The wonton soup was in one of those half (or less) pint containers. Why not just give more broth? I have two wontons in there. Is more broth to equal a pint that expensive?
The lunch special too was a smaller portion. He gave it with the rice in that circular tray as opposed to the longer rectangular trays that everyone else gives.
Food was very tasty though. Both the soup and the Hunan Chicken were on point… Just not too satisfying. Too small a portion left me feeling hungry still.
