This place is filled with upscale baby and children’s furniture sets. Too bad that its location is kind of out of the way. On our visit, I seriously wondered if this place is going to stay in business for long, as there was only 1 other family there besides me and my wife. The lone worker there did greet us immediately and offered to help. Most of the stuff here is probably considered affordable by folks living in Wetherington and Indian Hill. The rest of us plebs should probably stick with IKEA and Babies R Us. As far as quality goes, their stuff is much higher in quality than most places we’ve visited. However, those fiscally responsible could hardly justify spending $ 800 on a crib when Consumer Reports ranks something less than ¼ of the price as its top performer.

After searching several stores, my husband and I ended up at Tree House Kids to buy furniture for our baby. We loved the store. Tons of options, beautiful furniture, great quality, and great service in the store. We ordered our crib and 2 dressers on December 26. My due date was May 17, so the 10 – 12 week estimated delivery time would still allow for plenty of time to get the items before the baby came. WRONG!!! We got the crib and 1 dresser in April(after several conversations with store employees, assuring me we’d be getting the items soon). I had to contact the store each time to check the status. No one contacted me to give me updates or explain the delays. We didn’t even get the second dresser until AFTERTHEBABYWASBORN!!! The person I spoke with was not apologetic/sympathetic to the situation. Like I said earlier, the customer service was great in the store, but over the phone was a different story. When you are preparing for your first child, waiting on a crib and furniture is not something you should have to worry about. The quality of the items is great, but you can get the same brands elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and buy somewhere else.

Love the Treehouse Kids store locations. I visited both the Cincinnati store as well as the Dayton store and my experience at both were very enjoyable. The staff is so incredibly helpful and knowledgable. They will definitely work with you on every detail to make sure you get what you had in mind. Before going shopping I did some research online and created an «inspiration board» of what my ideal nursery would look like, and I’m happy to say with their help it has all come true. I purchased Baby’s Dream nursery furniture and a Best chairs upholstered rocker/glider. The store has a selection of great quality items and you can feel confident about anything that you purchase from them.

We registered at one of the major national baby store chains, but found their selection to be somewhat lacking when it came to some of the bigger ticket items we wanted, i.e. strollers, car seats, furniture, etc. Specifically, we were interested in seeing and comparing: strollers by Orbit, Teutonia, Phil & Ted, Uppababy; baby furniture by Munire; etc… none of which the major national chain carried. After some research online, I found a baby specialty store local to Cincinnati, Treehouse Kids Co. It’s about a 45 minute drive away for me, but turned out to be totally worth it. Their store is pretty large, the selection was much higher quality than the national chain store we had registered at, and their employees are super knowledgeable and helpful regarding their items. We ended up starting a second registry there, and got our stroller, crib, and infant car seat from them… which totalled $ 1500+… but sometimes, you really do get what you pay for. And I don’t mind paying for quality and excellent service… which is what you get at Treehouse Kids Co. Highly recommended!

Treehouse Kids sits on the end of one of Cincinnati Mills’ most vacant branches. It stands testament to the quality of the store as it’s been able to outlive the dreary situation found at the ill-fated mall. The store is a mecca of children’s furniture. Most of it is for babies and toddlers. They have the requisite convertible cribs as well as beds that even have slides attached to them. The store is a little jumbled as they have a limited space and a lot of merchandise, but it’s not so bad that you can’t walk around. There is a clearance section in the back that has some really great deals on different pieces of furniture as well. It is a great companion to Babies R Us which is right in the mall. They have a much nicer selection of furniture than Babies R Us and better customer service.
