Their sign attached to the building boasted«organic produce.» When we went inside, the only produce they had were some apples, oranges, and three bags of cherries. The cherries were kind of expensive, so we found the smallest bag we could and payed $ 5 for them. Upon opening the bag to eat the cherries, we discovered multiple moldy, rotting cherries. The cherries were wrinkly and did not taste good at all. We told the girl at the counter that our cherries were bad, and she then called another girl who was just like, «Well, the whole bag can’t be like that.» We told her they were all wrinkly. She asked the cashier if we had already payed for them, which we had. Then she said, «Well.that’s just the bag. that’s kinda just what you get.» We shouldn’t have to check our bag of cherries to see if they’re good! They shouldn’t be putting crap fruit like that out for people and then do nothing when they complain about it. Talk about lack of customer service. Two thumbs down.

They make a pretty adequate sandwich at the Springdale Fruit Company Market. Nothing to write home about, but not bad. The prices aren’t all that bad. 6.99 for a sandwich seems pretty fair. The people working there were pretty nice and they have decent picnic tables in the shade. Not a bad place.

five stars plus for the apples alone, which i contemplated smuggling into CA with me… but i had the distinct pleasure of reading the legal language at the CA boarder(or attempted to read through the paragraph of legal language at 70+ mph on I-15), where I understood it would be a big no no. such a shame because these are f-ing delicious organic apples-crisp, sweet, juicy– perfect apples. the made to order sandwiches are average, a little pricey with a heavy hand on the mustard. however, a very welcomed and nice change from the fast-food sad options labeled as «food» that we had along I-70 for the previous 6 days. the organic«cheetos-like product» they sell is freakishly delicious as well. combined with a very well-kept picnic area and close proximity to zion national park. springdale market capped off a wonderful visit through utah.

I love this place! Every time we visit Zion, we make a stop here to get sandwiches for lunch. Right before you enter Springdale, on your right-hand side you will see an orchard and a little house. Pull in and find yourself a nice shaded parking spot. My husband grabs a picnic bench in the lawn and hangs out with our pug while I go inside to order our sandwiches. It’s a small shop but has a nice selection. Usually they have lots of fresh fruit for sale as well as jellies, power bars, and organic snacks. There is a small refrigerated section with drinks and a counter where you can order sandwiches, fresh smoothies, and ice cream. The last time we went was over Memorial Day weekend so the store was a pretty bare. For the sandwiches, you get to choose which type of bread you want as well as meat, vegetables, and dressing. Everything is very fresh and their rosemary focaccia bread has lots of flavor and is super delicious. I order a couple veggie sandwiches for us and then take them out to the lawn to enjoy with the beautiful scenery. I’ve also had their smoothies and those are really good too. They use their own apple cider to make them. You aren’t going to find a ton to buy here, but it’s a good spot for lunch and to pick up a few snacks. Things are a little overpriced but nothing is exorbitant. The employees are very friendly. Free Wi-Fi and clean restrooms!

I LOVE all the Gluten Free items. Sometimes its so hard to travel when on a gluten free diet. Don’t fear a trip to Zions on a GF diet. This market will take great care of you!!! The cashier was really sweet. She offered many samples to us.

Wooooo! noticed some bad reviews here! How can that be when it’s just a simple store next to a apple orchard? We made it in mid October this time and to our surprise there were apples to be picked and we sure did. I think it was 99 cents a pound and I thought we might have overpicked. Then when we went in to pay it was just about $ 7 and they were delicious and tasted like what an apple should taste like. Yeah the stuff in the store is a bit overpriced and although I would have bought a tee shirt even some of those are out of my budget.(I’m thrifty :-)) We’ve never had lunch there, the stop is always our must do pit stop before heading into Zion. Good timing since we’ve never been there during apple season. In the winter the trees are bare and the place is usually closed. Mid October 2010, we picked apples and had a great time.

We came across this place on our road trip to Missouri and decided to stop by for lunch. The store has its own charm and you can definitely feel that vibe as soon as you walk inside. This apple orchard allows you to pick your own apples which I thought was very cool. I don’t get many chances to pick my own apples so I give this place an extra star! I had to try their organic apple cider and mmmm, was it GOOD! Freshly squeezed apple cider from the farm was definitely a winner. We ordered their sandwiches and enjoyed them outside for an afternoon picnic. I couldn’t ask for a better way to enjoy lunch in mid-August in perfect weather. It was very peaceful and quiet, which is a rare luxury for me. It was a great place to stop by for lunch on our road trip and definitely beat any fast food joint around the area.

Good fruit juice, bad sandwiches, fake gelato; all this without breaking a smile or saying hello. My husband and I had lunch at this charming little country story and beautiful apple orchard. Our happy experience ends here. We were looking for a casual sandwich place. For approximately $ 50.00 we got two very mediocre sandwiches on bone dry foccocio bread with potato salad that tasted like mustard on a spoon. The apple cider was great at 1.99 for a small bottle. It would have been easier to swallow had the manager there been a teeny bit polite. It was obvious immediately that customer service was simply not going to happen without a giant attitude. She refused to make eye contact for the entire exchange. She ignored me when I tried to give her my credit card to pay, forcing me to take my card back three times until I finally laid it down on the counter. The gelato there was terrible, a dissapointment and a big waste of calories. In these hard times, good customers should be valued. Instead, it took everything in me not to reach back in the tip jar and take my tip back. Go to Oscar’s and Belinda’s or the deli counter at Sol market. Three great options for fresh food and service with a smile.

Awesome sandwich and local organic fruits. Great drinks for those who prefer cola beyond coke and tea beyond snapple. Prices good to high on items. Great shaded areas for picnicing.

I was looking for a fruit stand, and by the name, I thought that’s what this was, however I was mistaken. I think the only fresh fruit they sold were apples and pears. And those weren’t even grown in Utah! I was hoping for fresh peaches! There was a huge assortment of dried fruit and nuts, and also lots of local products. We bought some wonderful carmel corn(my husband is just finishing that up as I type this…). And I had mango gelato that was very good. My son had a strawberry smoothie and he said it was okay but not the best he’s ever had. There is a deli area where you can have sandwiches made. And there’s a nice picnic area with clean restrooms. So, this is a good place, however it’s definitely not a fruit stand!

Little store and market to pick up a great selection of organic and natural foods and products. They sell a great selection of local products too. A sandwich and deli area, and also a good choice of gelato flavors.

Nice enough. Except that the cashier asked me when I was«due.» I’m not due and I’ve never been due, and I’m not even fat. So. .. yeah. That made for an awkward moment. Definitely a note to all customer service peeps, and indeed, all peeps, never to ask that dreaded question unless someone is actually in labor. But then again, it would be pretty obvious when they were due.

Nice little place on your right as you are coming into Springdale from St. George. Open, airy building with some outdoor seating to eat your treats. Fruit, baked goods, sandwiches and smoothies. What more could you ask for?
