Hooters

As soon as i walked in the door, the stench of sewer was an immediate turn off. i should have walked right back out. i sat at the bar and found the stench source, an visibly open drain that obviously did not have a trap in it. i can only assume that the staff is numb to this stench. i wont be back. It ruined my lunch which also was subpar. O-​rings very greasy, chicken very tough.

It’s been YEARS since I’ve dined in at Hooters. I know that I love their Buffalo Shrimp and was craving it. My friend (Kim J) and I just finished shopping at the Jungle Jims and wanted quick appetizers for dinner. Hooters was just down the street, so why not?
I had low expectations coming in and getting okay service (I shouldn’t think that, but I’m not going to lie, I did). We walked in and the hostess was nice but there was a 20 minute wait. That was okay, it was on a Friday night so that was expected.
We were seated within 15 minutes. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She got our drink orders right away. Plus we already knew what we wanted, we ordered our dinner with our drinks. Got the Fried Pickles, Curly Fries and Buffalo Shrimp with the sauce on the side. Got our food less than 15 minutes and it was hot and delicious! Our server kept checking up on us and was quick to give our check when we were ready. We did not feel rushed to leave.

Overall I would say my experience at this location was good! Everyone was so friendly, service was great and the food was good! Not bad for a chain restaurant!

The food was the standard Hooters food– overcooked but reasonably priced. As usual the girls were very attractive but we’re not trained in good customer service. My wife and I stood at the front waiting for someone to say something and the girl just stood there with her back turned. When I asked about seating, she ignored me and another girl from the floor asked if we had been helped. We were finally lead to a table and from there the service was pretty good.
So why the low rating… well that night the place had a couple frat boys with their hats turned backwards that were a little obnoxious but the girls continued to serve them drinks.
Guess I should expect that type of behavior but would expect the manager would better manage the situation when things get out of hand.
I had the chicken wings that was big but a little overcooked. My wife had the boiled shrimp and crab legs. She said it was good. Recommend going before 9pm or you start to get the more rowdy crowd around 10 pm.

If there where negative stars I would give this place one. The food tasted good. BUT the service was horrible. The waitress took our order. Came back with the appetizer took the order again then didn’t show back up for almost 30 minutes. I had to flag down another server to get my drink. Then when I got the drink it was watered down and gross and the food was cold. The manager came over to see how the visit was going and when he was told about the service he just mumbled a sorry and walked away staying clear of the table again. We had to get up to find our server to get the check and then when I tried to pay she wouldn’t take the cash. So we left it on the table and walked out. Sorry Sydney, you are an awful server and you deserved all three cents of a tip you got.

For lunch I can’t complain too much. Sitting at a table of 10 our server was prompt for the most part. More than I expected her to be as it was lunch rush and we were such a large group. She was very nice and even told me what I was ordering would be cheaper on the lunch menu and I would get a side with it. The only gripe I had was to no fault of our server but the machine went down as she was trying to cash is out so it added a slight delay to our departure and return to work. I thought the mix of channels on the tvs was nice as well. Most were sports but they also has some more niche channels on like the outdoor channel and a few news channels. Overall a pleasant and somewhat speedy lunch with friends considering the size of the group. Would go back.

Don’t even waste your time. We came from out of town and thought we would get a good meal. We waited over 20 minutes to get drinks. We ordered our food when the waitress came to get drinks. We waited over 58 minutes for our food they were not busy. Then we get our food it was cold and the worst food we’ve ever had… Don’t stop!

Absolutely the worst hooters I have ever been to. Food was ok but the waitresses definitely need classes in social skills. All but one were just angry that they were there it seemed. Dropped a $ 130 in tips on a $ 36 tab just to see if anything would change and never got a reaction. A friend that was with me couldn’t believe how boring a Hooters could be.

New renovations make this a much better destination. You know what the food will be like, good service, nice quick lunch!

Went today for lunch, they actually have pretty appealing lunch specials bone in wings 10 for 7.99 with fries and boneless 10 for 6.99 and few other items as well.
We got the fried pickles which were actually very good I would order again. Not sure what the sauce was but a nice compliment.
The waitress was not very tentative and seemed flustered. Would be there one minute and then gone for 20 mins or so till she re appeared.
I ordered the lunch special boneless wings with hot sauce. They were better than I expected and have less breading than the wings which I liked (I think the same breading as the fried pickles.) I ate 8 of the 10 and most of the fries but my last 2 wings were raw. Not just slightly under cooked but raw. Not sure if they all were like that or just the last 2. This completely ruined my meal. I was pretty turned off after that. The manager happened to be walking by and I mentioned it to him. At first he did not believe me but then saw that they were very pink inside. He tried to justify the mistake by saying they are carefull not to over cook and the boneless wings are different sizes blah blah blah… I’d take over cooked wings over raw wings any day of the week. He offered to make me a fresh batch but I was not interested. He did however, comp my meal and took care of the bill completely.
Due to the quick action and sincerity of the manager I would still return. I would just be sure to check the doneness of each wing…
The food is to par with other locations, the atmosphere is nice but not as good as the one on the river and the wait is a bit longer. If you go during busy hours don’t expect to get in and out. My rating reflects my feelings. Average experience but to be expected…

One of the few places to watch Ronda Rousey fight tonight! Wings are awful overcooked, hardly any sauce. Just come for UFC and beer!

Sure it’s not as great as the one at the river but it’s a lot less hassle to get there. I e been to better hooters in different states. Food was fresh. For awhile they had no claim chowder as a company. I liked it. Then the original recipe came back. Now they have changed the recipe. It’s still good but just different from what I was accustomed to. This one has more of a white base color to it. Note: if you want any kind of heat to your sauce you have to get hot. Hot here is more like everyone else’s medium. Medium here is like a butter sauce. Service is just ok.

Really bad wings !!! My friends were happy with the beer, and the ambiance was good for a nice conversation (not too crowded, not too loud). I wish the wings were better…

I won’t say my experience was HORRIBLE here but it wasn’t good either.
Started off rough when myself and another female friend walked in and there were three waitresses just standing at the hostess station looking at us as if saying ‘why are you here?’ This echos another reviewer who said they can be a bit standoffish which is true.
When we were finally seated, we waited longer than we should have to be greeted by our waitress who was very nice. We ordered right away and then proceeded to wait FOREVER for our food. I just really couldn’t believe how long it took! That however, is a kitchen problem.
The food was your typical Hooters fair, nothing to write home about. I did order a margaritas which probably only had a dash of tequila, if any, and it reminded me of why I usually skip mixed drinks at a place like this. There too many other good options around to have to settle for this place.

Worst experience! Went here for dinner date with my boys (of course that’s what they picked). Waited an hour for food to come out then got the wrong food was charged for 4 drinks when there was only 3 of us. The server didn’t really seem to care that the food took an hour and was told that they may take care of the food for taking so long but nothing was taking off. I don’t mind long ticket times as I understand the restaurant business (I’m a server as well) but don’t tell your customers something and then not follow through with anything and then over charge them on the bill.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. Waitress is horrible. Food service slowest I’ve ever encountered.

Ate with 6 ppl here after going to a festival down the road. Service was very very slow. Took an hour and 15 minutes to get our food and wings were cold by the time they arrived. Probably only 6 or 7 other tables with guests. Saw 3 tables walk out after sitting down because the servers gathered at the front door ignored them. Hooters girls were below average in appearance. Our server was nice and checked on us as much as she could. I would say problems here start with management

Service has been slow every time I have been here but tonight was just inexcusable. There were 5 of us and when the waitress brought our orders there were only three orders. One order of wings was missing altogether and my burger and another persons burger order somehow got merged together into one burger with both sets of toppings.

Went here to kill time last week while my car was in the shop across the street. I was kinda excited going in, since I’d never been to a Hooters and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Sadly, I was disappointed.
Granted, it was 3pm on the Monday before thanksgiving. But from what I saw, it would be even worse when it’s crowded at night, especially if there’s a game on.
My waitress was really nice, but all the other girls seemed standoff-​ish. Maybe because I was a woman dining alone at Hooters? The food was also just okay. Probably will not be returning here, especially with so many other options so close by.

Giving them 1 star isn’t even acceptable to me! Took my family here for my brother and mother’s bday and I will NEVER come back to this location!!! My brother is a Hooters man… visits them in every state he travels. This is by far worst experience ever. Food took an hour. When it came out… COLD! And I’m not sure how because we had already alerted manager. My kids chicken fingers were not edible. The after taste turned even my stomach. The mgr tried to be helpful by writing off the chicken fingers and the entrée that was cold BUT still didn’t have a good explanation as to why this went so wrong. He said this was the best he could do and I still have a $ 60 check. Chalk that up as a lesson to learn from… this is why I’m sharing.

The is probably the worst Hooters food wise where I have eaten. Just drink the beer, the food is awful.
