I think the atmosphere in this restaurant is second only to Jose’s when considering all of the Mexican restaurants in Springdale and I appreciate that the owners take good care of the grounds and building. This is a convenient lunch option for folks who work on the east side of Thompson and of all the dishes I’ve tried here I have to come back to their basic salsa as one item I most look forward to when visiting Acambaro. This building was built as a Western Sizzlin Steak House and operated as such from this location for several years. If you’re looking for the Western Sizzlin it moved to 3492 W Sunset Ave, Springdale, AR72762.

The food is delicious and cheap. Sometimes, the service is lacking. Lunch specials are a very good value. Best salsa in nwa.

I’ve loved Acambaro since it opened ages ago. Their $ 4.99 lunch special(includes drink) is great and the food is always consistently good. They have .99 cent beer and cheap margaritas. Love the salsa!

Came here for lunch. The salsa is delicious! O had the shrimp taco salad. The seasoning on the shrimp makes the salad taste even better. The price is very reasonable an cheap. The restaurant looks very decent and nice. Good place for lunch.

I’ve eaten here a couple times. It’s like most other acambaro’s except sub par customer service. Go next door for better quality food(IMO).

Yes, very good. Still not the best — that goes to Mojito’s.

Our favorite Mexican food place. Salsa is good. White queso is wonderful. Taco Salad Chips is my favorite dish. Try it.

Another tough one to review. This place has shifted management at least 3 times in the past 5 years, and every time it is accompanied by a long time period of closure. The food is pretty good, and actually pretty authentic, in a Rio Bravo meets El Paso kind of way. Price is comparable to the other Mexican restaurants in the area. In short, just your average Mexican food for an average price.
