We paid Mrs. Ana a pretty penny to do the alterations on my wedding dress. She told me my wedding veil would be free since it was the first she’d ever done of that type. We came to pick up the veil and she said we owed her $ 400. Very unpleasantly unexpected. We would not have asked her to do what she did if we knew it would be so expensive. There were also pins left in my dress that cut into me all during my wedding reception :(

Way over priced!!! Look elsewhere and find a better price… Ana convinced me to adjust the top of my strapless gown. She Claimed it would fit better, of course for more money. My dress had a lot of beading on top. She claimed it would look exactly as it was before alterations even w the extensive bead work. I left the parking lot, literally, and called Ana to tell her to only do the bustling and leave the top alone. She claimed my dress was already being worked on. I highly doubt that as it takes her many months to return the dress to you. When I received the dress it was not exact as before. A few strings were hanging. My photographer had to cut loose string at my bridal picture shoot. I will say the bustling was done well. For the price I paid it should have been near perfect!

Ms. Ana is almost evil. After canceling my wedding due to just reasons, I was too distraught to go to my first dress fitting. When I called to tell her that the wedding was off a week later and that I was going to pick up the dress, Ms. Ana informed me that she had already taken my dress apart and demanded I pay the full $ 900 and go ahead with the alterations. Get in my wedding dress and have alterations done when I just called off my wedding!!! I told her that sounded like hell and she responded with a very ugly voice, «That’s really unfortunate you can’t work it out with him.» She had no sympathy whatsoever. I had already paid a deposit of $ 100 that I didn’t want refunded and was fine with just picking up the dress in pieces. Nope, not even that was good enough for Ms. Ana. This is my only negative review on Unilocal.I am very happy to compliment great work from great people. I wrote this to make everyone on Unilocal aware of how awful this store owner is. She made the cancellation of my wedding even worse. Please reconsider finding another seamstress for your big day.

I would strongly reconsider spending $ 800 or more with Ms. Ana. My niece recently went to her. My niece left her dress with her and one hour later decided that she was not comfortable spending the $ 800. Yet Ana had already started to undo some stitching. Ana changed tunes and decided that my niece would have to pay $ 195 to get her dress back. This after Ana said…“well let’s sleep on things.” Bottom line: DON’T SIGN HER CONTRACT
