Sevier Climate Control

They were sent out by the home warranty company AHS. While I am always skeptical about the service I will get from the warranty company, I always hope for the best. I am a business owner and rely on honesty and integrity in my business. These guys quoted back to the warranty company with over $ 1000 in completely fabricated charges. Fortunately as a business owner I have access to reputable hvac contractors who were able to assess the situation, explain the bogus charges, and recommend appropriate service. Obviously, I took the cash out option, and hired someone else.
Rather than using the warranty service as an opportunity to develop a relationship for when I need to replace the unit, they decided it was better to try to wring as much cash as possible out of me. Very disappointed that I had to waste the service call fee to be treated like a sucker. Watch out for them padding your bill folks.

NO STARS. This company is rude, untimely and unprofessional. Got yelled at on the phone for calling too much. They did not show up during my service call «window» THREE TIMES IN A ROW. Avoid at all costs!

Sent by warranty company, and was IMMEDIATELY told my home in Huntwick built in 1976 was «thrown» up during the boom, Duct work run wrong, had to be redone and add another return. Wrote up work to ensure decline by Warranty company by stating poor construction of the home. Actually thought I would not get 2 additional quotes and not report them for deceptive practices. Charges $ 25 more per pound of Freon than 3 other company’s and only wanted the work that warranty company would not do. WRONG. To earn business outside of warranty, earn the respect first. I would strongly recommend steering clear of this company and their practices. Matt was our technician and still believes he was «right» and the other techs need to go «back to school». AVOID.

The problem resolved. They credited the cost of the switch that does not work. Upgraded to 3 starts. Go with the switch that detects water in the overflow pan.
