This hasn’t been my first Brazilian Wax. Since moving to a new area, I wanted something that was closer. Monique was my was specialist, and she did an awesome job. I highly recommend her for any wax services that ladies might have. Thanks again!

All other reviews are not exaggerating. Monique is one of a kind. She genuinely cares about her clients mind, body and soul. She takes tremendous pride in her work and is a perfectionist. I love the results and honestly would not dare to venture anywhere else.

Pristine Body Studio, is definitely the place to go when it comes to waxing! I’ve been to my share of waxing places in both Dallas and Houston, and I’d have to say Monique does a great job! She made me feel extremely comfortable, informed about the process, while being very professional.
Initially it can be a bit confusing finding the place, but look for the French Quarter Salon. It’s a grand looking place in the middle of 2920 with a pretty little body of water in front. There’s other empty looking plazas in front but take a drive all the way behind those, and you’ll find a parking lot, to park by the French Quarter Salon. This place is extremely huge, and seems like a building filled with beauty various treatment businesses, so don’t get too confused and just ask the ladies in front where to go. I got a bit confused and almost ended up going up the stairs, but decided to save myself possible embarrassment and just asked. The women at the front directed me on how to contact Monique for my appointment while I waited in the lobby.
As for the entire experience, Monique gave me a sit down of the products she used, some useful tips, and answered any questions I had. While being waxed, she was very informative about what was going on as well as entertaining! It’s weird to say, but I actually enjoyed coming here to get waxed. There was lots of conversation that helped me get my mind off of what was going on, and I actually felt little to no pain during the whole process. Nothing bad to comment on at all.
I’ll be coming back for another appointment in the future and do recommend any first timers to visit her and make an appointment on her website. If you’re new at waxing or would just like to try Pristine Body Studio, Monique offers a free first time armpit or eyebrow wax.

I had the most amazing wax from Monique. Located in the French Quarter. Loved how it was incredibly inviting and clean. Monique made me feel right at home. Ok, so I was super nervous to get a Brazilian wax but I swear Monique made me feel so comfortable and it wasn’t that bad at all! Monique is definitely very knowledgeable about waxing and to me that was very important! The whole time I was getting a wax she was making sure I was comfortable and relaxed! Before she actually waxed me, there was a consultation about my skin and everything. She put me at ease way before I even got on the table. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does. The salon was easy too find, it’s the two story building and you just walk in and sit in the waiting area. It’s very nice and clean which is always a plus. I will be going back for a follow up appointment. I am very satisfied with Monique and her services.

I found Monique through a Groupon not long after she opened her business. First, let me say she has great products. She uses a wonderful hard wax that is as painless as waxing could possibly get. She is also very knowledgeable in skin care and carries these body scrubs that’ll leave your skin feeling and smelling fabulous.
More than that, though, she’s a perfectionist at her craft. She takes great pride in her work and spends the necessary time to get it right.
With that being said, it’s important to note two things. First, being that she’s one woman show, the clients should be on time to their appointment. If you are late, everyone behind you is going to be late. That isn’t Monique’s fault. She will try to reschedule you or ask you to wait politely.
Second, make sure you schedule yourself enough time to be there. A Brazilian and an eyebrow wax is going to take 30 – 45 minutes. It’s a craft, folks. Coming to Monique over the past year or so, I’ve seen several people come in late to their appointments (more than 20 minutes late), get mad when asked to wait, and then only have 15 minutes to get waxed. I know we are all busy, but that’s not how these things work. If waiting isn’t your thing, get one of her first appoints in the morning.
Monique is more than a wax specialist. She is warm, inviting, funny, and puts you completely at ease. She’s quickly become one of my favorite people, and I tell everyone I know about her!

OK let me first start by saying I really liked going to pristine body studio. The location is close to my house and I thought Monique did a great job as a wax specialist. Plus I prefer to go to a smaller business rather than a large franchise business such as European Wax Studio. Getting a wax is an intimate yet painful experience and I like speaicalist to take their time. More importantly I don’t like feeling as if I’m just another dollar sign. I was a client of Monique’s from 11÷15−6÷15 during this time I had a total of 4 waxes done. My first time was a great yet painful experience as usually. My second appointment I waited for about 25 minutes which is a no no for me. However, I do understand sometimes you do have to wait because one client can throw your time off. So the wait was understanable. Now my third appointment I waited for 1 hour TOTALLY UNEXCEPTIONABLE. But I still went back because she did a good job and her location was very convenient for me. My four appointment was all good waited for about 10 minues which is no problem for me. My last visit was on 6−8−15 I originally had an appointment time of 4pm. She did contact me to see if I could come @6pm instead of 4pm which I agree to come later. On my way to the new appointment time she calls me 30mins before to inform me she’s running 20mins behind. I said OK I was already there so I just waited in my car. At the building she works out of you need to get buzzed in or you can wait for someone to walk by and try to get in. Once she pulls up she goes over and talks to some other ladies who have businessess in the same building. I then got out of my car and proceeded to the front of the building to go inside. Now if your late as Hell to service your client and you’ve changed the appointment time twice I would think you’d be on your pees once you got there. Of course I couldn’t get in without her so I called her cell phone twice no answer. Along came someone leaving and they let me in. I sat in the lobby about 15mins and then she came in and told me she would be with me in a monment. Once I looked at my clock and seen the time was 7:15pm and I was still waiting. I just walked out extremely upset that I was even involved with someone so unprofessional and someone who clearly doesn’t value other people’s time or money. She called me about 10mins later and got my VM, she had the audacity to be like «I came to the front to get you did you leave or something please call me when you can». This review is self explanatory use at your own risk but she’d never see a dime of my hard earned ever again.

There’s nothing relaxing about a bikini wax but this wonderful young lady has a way of doing just that! Beautiful facility, professional service and Monique is so wonderful. Highly recommend!

For the record — waxing is never fun but Monique magically makes it a pleasant experience. Her place is warm and cozy which helps to make one feel at home– and then there’s her energetic and easy going personality. I love her! Finally found someone who can do the Brazilian without killing me!!! She’s so sweet and helpful. It was so fast and the least pain I’ve felt when getting this Service. She’s been flexible with rescheduling and very quick to return my calls when I have questions. Love her!

From the moment you walk into her suite it’s wonderful. Mrs. Monique is a Perfectionist, she will have you looking and feeling SEXY. Shes so personable and easy to talk to. She knows what shes doing and most importantly what’s healthy for your skin. She gives you tips on how to maintain your wax and lashes. Mrs. Monique, takes very good care of your skin before and after treatment. Her waxing technique is professional and one of a kind. I’ve never had a wax specialist take so much pide and precision in how they apply the wax. Well she does, she knows her stuff and explains as your receiving your wax. There’s absolutely no awkwardness because she is sooo professional and welcoming.
I definitely recommend her to anyone who wants a wax specialist who knows what she’s doing :-)

From the welcome I received upon my arrival all the way through my wax and final goodbye, I can say I enjoyed my experience. Regardless of who you are, getting a wax can be awkward, but with Monique she makes sure you are comfortable, she makes conversation while performing her services, which helps to put the mind at ease. She made sure the wax temperature was not too hot on the skin and she is definitely a perfectionist, which is a plus. Her studio is clean and she is knowledgeable when it comes to her work.

Mo’nique is very good at what she does. I usually get a Brazilian Wax service; to me it can be very uncomfortable to have your «wooo-​hooo» ;-) exposed to a stranger… since I have been seeing Mo’nique I have not felt uncomfortable in anyway.
The process is gentle, does NOT include those evasive «white strips» and takes only 15 – 20 minutes.
Mo’nique is very focused on client satifisfaction; along the way, she will ask if you are comfortable. Your comfort level is her ultimate goal, no matter the service.
