Several other food trucks here at Bernie’s Backyard and we’ve only eaten at Paradise Gogi. Phenomenal tacos with kimchi and the Gigi fries with beef and kimchi are amazing.

Some of the best fries I’ve ever eaten. I wished I found this place sooner. French fries with cheese, bulgogi meat and kimchee. Asked for no cilantro and no siracha sauce. So delicious that I ate it two days in a row. If you haven’t been here you must come and try it. I will be back to try the ramen burger.

I had never been to Bernies Backyard and I kept seeing it on my way home from work. Today though I decided to give it a try for lunch, plus some of my customers kept recommending for me to go try it. I gotta say I absolutely loved it! I went to Paradise Gogi and it was just delicious! I can’t wait to tell my coworkers and customers to go try it! Keep it up! I’ll definitely be a repeat customer so I can try everything on the menu!

I’d like to start off this review letting y’all know, that all these trucks at Bernie’s backyard are wonderful, but not all trucks are created equal. I’ve been a self demoted foodie ever my family opened up a restaurant 2 years ago and I discovered Unilocal, both the reviewers end and the business side. Ever since finding Bernie’s backyard I’ve deemed the name«Food truck Friday» for a place to eat every Friday. It has been 9 Friday’s straight as of this review, and every time I have gotten something from Gogi. Attracted first of the ideas of anything fusion, something different from the norm, the Ramen burger drew me in and luckily I managed to get it on the first visit. What a magnificent burger it was which all the different textures and flavored working together. I’ve had about everything from Gogi so far and everything is good. With every food truck Friday I bring a new group of friends and every time there is something for them to be pleased with. I guess I’ve been become a regular now. I’ve also had the pleasure of making friends with Dan(the man) and the cook of the truck and there people are so humble and hard working of what they do. Over all I’d recommend this truck ten times over, if you looking for a good bit, or even something different please check them out.

As a food truck owner in San Antonio, I was impressed by the freshness and quality flavours of the Gogi quesadilla. Great presentation, friendly people, great food.

Amazing food. Never disappointed. We come to Bernie’s just to eat here. My wife always gets the OMG fires and kimchi and a fried egg. I get the Gogi melt and then we split dumplings. We usually come here at least once a week and have always had a positive experience. The girl who takes our order is very nice and she has started to remember us every time we come. Kinda cool to be known as a regular at someplace like this. This is a must try for anyone who comes to Bernie’s. Hope they never leave!!!

Definitely worth the trip. If you’re in the Spring area, you must visit Bernie’s Backyard where this is located. The Oh My Gogi Fries alone are enough to keep you coming back, topped with Korean bbq, Sriracha, mayo, cilantro, and onions. Their dumplings, crispy fried, certainly didn’t disappoint. But what surprised me and my husband the most was their Ramen Burger. Like their Gogi Burger, Korean bbq and veggies and sauces surrounded by two fried ramen patties. Yes you read right and it was gooood!

OMGogi is paradise so it’s no surprised that they have named their sister truck Paradise Gogi. Unlike it’s big brother(who’s food is often served late at night only), Paradise Gogi has staked it’s claim at Bernie’s Backyard(food truck park). For those of you who’ve never had OMGogi, the items offered are mostly the same: Korean/Mexican fusion including tacos, fries, ramen burger, dumplings, and patty melt. If you’ve never had a ramen burger, that should be your go-to. This time around I had the OMG fries with teriyaki chicken which comes with colby jack, sriricha(I can never spell it right!), spicy mayo, and cilantro. Truly paradise! My only criticism is that I wish they had a larger menu as their current menu features less than 10 items.

These guys are the best! I’ve been craving this type of food since I moved Austin to Houston about 6 month ago, and have visited Paradise Gogi twice. The employees are so nice and friendly, and the food is great. I wish it wasn’t so far away from where I live or work, but I will go out of my way to come here again! The fries and quesadilla are very good, and I saw a salad option I’d like to try next time.

Came out to Bernie’s and decided to get the Oh My Gogi fries. These are delicious and right size. We split them to go with our sandwich. The fries are crispy and cooked to perfection. They are topped with Colby cheese, cilantro, spicy mayo, siracha, onions, and choice of beef or chicken. We opted for beef, which is thinly sliced and chopped. You first taste the cheese and beef then the spiciness kicks in. These are delictable from the first bite to the last.

I’ve always loved getting Oh My Gogi down in Rice Village whenever I’m out late(drinking) in that area but it was so far away from my home whenever I wanted it on other nights. I heard this place opened up over the summer up in Spring but I didn’t get around to going to it till now. Same great taste and some of the same guys working the other bus working up at this location. Now I have better justification indulging myself in the fries because it’s closer haha. GETTHEGOGIFRIES! Add kimchi, lots of siracha, and a fried egg on top to make it absolute perfection. The location is a little weird to get to since it’s sandwiched between a suburban neighborhood and I-45 but good vibes all around from the sitting area and live music. Lots of kids running around as well. Much more family location than the bars of Rice Village.
