Millennium Waterway Apartments

A fantastic location — walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping, concerts, movies. The facility is good — but maintenance seems lacking at times (fitness equipment and recreational facilities frequently brakes and takes months to fix). There are monthly social events — although the food always seems to run out half way through the publicized times. The staff is pleasant, but management acts condescending and sometimes seems incapable.

From the day I first stopped in to enquire about a lease the staff was on top of all my questions. Finalizing of documents and proof of utilities for move in were a breeze.
Food trucks that visit often are a real plus.
Love being able to walk to so many restaurants and shopping. Living at the Millennium Waterway makes you want to get out and be active.

The location and initial appeal of the Millennium Waterway Apartments was great. However when we arrived to move in (with the movers/​truck from San Antonio) on our scheduled date agreed upon months earlier we were told that our apartment wasn’t ready… We never received a phone call from them and the apartment was vacant but they were still doing some work on it. They attempted to have us take one on a different floor with different amenities that we did not want. We ended up moving all of our stuff into a temporary apartment for a week and then they moved us into ours. Over the 14 months we had several issues while living their including roaches for the first few months, a shower handle that continually needed repairing and an issue with the sink disposal. The only good part about the Millennium was the location. 3 months after moving out I received a phone call from a collections agency claiming I owed $ 124.45. After calling Millennium I was told that a final bill had been sent to our new address after leaving which I never saw, nor did I receive any phone calls from them that we still had a balance. Really, 1 mailed statement, no phone call and you send debt collectors. And to collect $ 124.45 after we paid close to $ 30,000 in rent for 14 months. Nice.

I absolutely love living here. The residents, the staff, and the location are second to none. We are going on our second year here and look forward to many more.
