Matthew is a great therapist. He is very knowledgable. Exceeded my expectations. Front desk staff was very kind. If you live in the area this is the place to go. I used to go to massage heights spring creek but after my experience at Massage Envy, I will not be going anywhere else

Another satisfied guest I’ve been going to this location for three years and I will not be switching to another location anytime soon I love my 90 minute sessions and my therapist is always amazing of course I won’t name names because I don’t want them to book up on me!!! Sorry y’all but def go here and get the 90 minute massage on trust me you won’t regret it! The staff there is always so great wonderful place

Just had an amazing massage with Matthew. I only booked an hour because it was my first time using him. I will most definitely book 1 ½ hours next session. He gave me exactly what I asked for and worked the areas I needed most. Deep tissue was on point! Two thumbs up from me with a big !!

This place customer service very very bad. Scheduled appointment over the phone, payed over phone, per my wife requested a woman. Got confirmation email, with woman masseur name. On arrival and checking in, they changed it to a man. My wife refused and demanded a refund and they charged anyway a 50 dollar cancellation fee. I think this was a scam to get 50 dollars free. 30 mins later after a few well placed phone calls, they refunded our money back

I have been a member at Massage Envy since 2011. This was just one of those things that I let go on for much longer than I should have, since I have never really bein satisfied with their services. Throughout that time I could count on ine hand the number of good massages that I have had. Mostly the ‘therapists’ are mediocre or just plain bad at what they do. They just go through the motions without any understanding of how to individualize a massage and actually address your issues.(I have a shoulder and upper back issue that can be quite painful). The contrast is stark when compared to some of the higher end spas where I have received massages while on vacation. It has always been such a disappoint after receiving one of those to come back to the mediocre ‘hit or miss’ massages at Massage Envy. On one occasion I encountered a decent masseuse there that really helped me. i felt he might be a reason to continue with my membership and try to use the many massages that I had built up, but he soon left. Which brings me to a discussion about their ‘customer service’ and shady business practices. They called to let me know that the card that they charge monthly for membership expired. I told them at that time to go ahead and cancel my membership as I no longer use the service(I had something like 15 massages built up that I hadnt used) They informed me that they could not cancel my membership unless I allowed them to draft my card for the next month and come into the spa to fill out a cancellation form, which I did. I told them I had not been using their services because I was unhappy with the quality of the massages there, had several built up that I would never use and would they please waive the next months fee and just cancel. They not only refused to do this, but called a couple of days later to say that they would be charging my card AGAIN and I had until the end of the month to use all of the massages I had accumulated. Though I had long ago met the terms of my 12 month obligation, they referred to a 30 day cancellation policy. There was never an acknowledgement or apology during any of those conversations for the poor quality of service I feel I have received over these years . In long run it does not really make sense to become a member of Massage Envy… just a way for them to entrap you because they know the repeat business concept won’t work for them since they obviously cannot produce consistency in their services. You only save $ 20 per massage by joining and then potentially end up with wasted massages that you’ll never use or can’t give away either, as their gifting policy is as absurd and restrictive as their other policies!

Serena, for your information your staff is the one that booked both of my sessions. If you need to wait between massages then you might want to train the staff on the regulations. And did I tell you the massage was for Relaxation and not DEEP tissue. My bruised back and sore neck wasn’t from back to back massages.

I write this as I should be getting a couples massage with my wife. She was supposed to have a prenatal massage. But obviously that didn’t happen since I’m writing this. I cannot express how pissed I am. Not for me, but my wife, who is 39 weeks pregnant and has been looking for some relief. Time date etc was confirmed with credit card info. Looking forward to a relaxing time with each other before our little girl gets here. But nope. That didn’t happen. Some brilliant person, I use brilliant very loosely, didn’t put us in for said confirmed appointment. As were checking in for nonexistent appointment, brilliant person sees that shock and sadness on my wife and doesn’t help any further. I have to ask her for the next available appointment or if there is something available elsewhere. She says next week. See above about 39 weeks. Next week aint happening. If you choose to go to this place, get the name of the scheduler so you can give them a piece of your mind when your appointment doesn’t exist. I have been here before and I can assure I will never go here again, and I will tell everyone who listens to make the drive across the freeway and go somewhere else. Also, the owner sat in his office the entire time this went down. I’m sure they will say you must have made the appointment elsewhere but I know for a fact that didnt happen, if it did, someone would have been calling to ask where we were. I was were I was supposed to be. Update: Since I had written the review, the owner called me, left a voicemail asking if any other location called to see if we were on the way. He asked me to call him back. I did. Me being in sales I understand the value of customer service and how far it can go, Mr. H!@@#$s did not. He again asked if we booked somewhere else and had we gotten a call. I told him we didn’t get a call from anyone looking for us. So I knew we were in the right place. We don’t just randomly give credit card info out. He did not want to take any responsibility, or apologize for the inconvenience. But he did try to rebook us(lol). By then it was too late. Trying to get my wife taken care of, I got her an appointment elsewhere for the next day. It’s not couples massage but it will take care of my girls. He was very mad that we were not going to our«home» massage envy since it’s the closest to our house. I cannot believe that the owner, lol, didn’t take Ownership of the mishap or say Sorry.

For Valentine’s Day last year, my friend Jennifer took me to Massage Envy and I had a fantastic massage(you can read my ROTD review of it here: ). After not having regular massages for a while, my back was beginning to really bother me since I spend most of my day sitting in my desk chair at my laptop. I really needed a massage, so I thought I’d take a look and see if I could find a Massage Envy nearby and check for any promotional deals. Lo and behold, there’s a location about fifteen minutes from me and for first time visitors, you can get an hour massage for only $ 39. I called and booked an appointment right away and, since they’re open until 10 pm, had no problem finding a time to fit my(at the time) weird work hours. The massage was fantastic. I like a deep tissue massage and was delighted to find out that this is one of their specialties. I was incredibly happy with the massage, so when leaving, I looked into their membership packages. Previously when I had gone, monthly memberships were around $ 90 a month or so(I believe), which isn’t bad, but you can find other massage places that are close to that. Now, though, monthly memberships are only $ 49 and while you have to sign up for a year, if you don’t use your massage in a given month, it rolls over to the next month, so you never lose any unused massages. After debating about it for a few days, I went ahead and signed up and I’ve been very happy with my choice. All of my massages have been good with some of them being downright spectacular. The close location, late appointments, and almost always available appointments(I’ve even made ones on the same day) makes this one of the best decisions I’ve ever had. When I went in for my massage tonight, it turns out that the location is a year old, so they’re running a special for new members. You get a free ½ hour massage and 20% discount on all products. If you’re not a member, you can get massages all week long for only $ 39 an hour(no limit on the massages). They also have drawings for free massages and other items like bath oils. This offer is good until October 24, 2009. Bottom line, everyone out there can probably do with a massage at least once a month. Massage Envy makes it easy and affordable to take care of yourself and give yourself a little pampering at the same time. Who doesn’t love that?
