Door guy is disappointing. He is simply rude, constantly changing the prices, literally charges some people different prices and others nothing(as guests we sat there and watched this happen. I believe that the owner and the door guy are friends, but if the owner only knew that the doorman is costing him his clientele, he may reconsider keeping him in that position. Or maybe not. .. I hope The Woodlands opens up more places to hang out soon. Lastly the final receipt will not be itemized so you will not be able verify the drinks that you purchased. I often feel over charged, but I don’t say anything as I feel that it will be more trouble than it’s worth. Thanks.

This is a classy place with outstanding live music. Very diverse crowd, lively and plenty of dancing. Great drink menu and great service. Not sure what the obsession is on the gratuity. I think that revue is out of date. Just check your receipt which we always do anyway.

This is a great place to relax, have a drink, and listen to some live music! Bands play on Fri and Sat nights. with a $ 5 cover. There’s a dress code that’s casual dress; no T-shirts or baseball caps. Mostly R&B and mowtown. Bands can be really good. People like to dance, dance space is limited on packed nights. The staff are very friendly and actually talk and engage the patrons! The other patrons are laid back, friendly, approachable, & looking to have a good time. I highly recommend stopping in!!!

Definitely an upscale place. This great little gem of a place is a mirror image of your typical work week. On Monday when you are unwinding with a long week ahead you can stop at happy hour and enjoy a nice buffet so that you don’t have to cook when you get home. Singles usually have a meet and greet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Nothing better than a group of classy Woodlands ladies losing their inhibitions while sipping on ‘tini’s from their long list of cocktails. On Thursdays an after happy hour fueled Karaōke breaks out with some really good and brave singers. On weekends this little place really changes personalities. The dance floor is packed with an eclectic crowd from every walk of life. For 5 $ there is no better live music anywhere in The Woodlands.

It’s no wonder they’re in and out of business… this place is a disaster. Martinis and More??? Translation: order a drink and be prepared to be charged for more!!! 20% automatic gratuity added to my tab here; no mention of this from the waitress, doorman, or menu. I actually enjoyed the live music and the service of the waitress… but I got a funny feeling when she didn’t offer me a receipt for my cash payment. After tipping her roughly 22%, I asked for a receipt because the tab was held on a credit card I didn’t want charged. I paid cash and was told she wasn’t able to print a receipt.(Lesson learned on my behalf.) I sat down and told her I’d wait till she figured it out… and amazingly enough, she was suddenly able to print one for me. One look at the tab and I discovered why she lied. The amount I was told I owed included a 20% gratuity, but she didn’t let me know. This waitress ended up swindling me for my generous 22% tip, PLUS the 20% already added to my tab. Ehh, what goes around… comes around. I just laughed it off because I’m not a confrontational person, but I won’t be back again after reading what other Unilocalers had to say. This is not an isolated incident. Save yourself!

WARNING: 20% Auto-gratuity added to your bill and they don’t tell you! READ the reviews FIRST! I pulled this place up on Unilocal since we were in the area, saw the 3 stars which is «A-Ok» so we popped in. I SHOULD have READ the REVIEWS before going in! Grrrrr! There was a $ 5 cover. There was a live band, so that’s expected. There was one table available in the back under the TV so we stayed. The waitress(THERESE is what was on the receipt) was our waitress. She was a comedy of errors. We wanted wine. The selection is PITIFUL. BV Coastal cheap wine(and it’s $ 8 a glass!) ugh. We had never been there before. We told the waitress this because we asked how long they have been there. We had never noticed this place before, but had gone to another bar close by before.(Rookies) She said«a long time.» So then just trying to get the wine was crazy and we had to wait a while because she said she only found one wine glass. She blamed it on a party around the corner. She had to wash a glass for us. I told her, «please make sure it isn’t hot, though.» She came back and said, «I put it in the ice a good while so that it was nice and chilled!» Eek, thanks but hello, we had ordered Merlot. smh. The band was GREAT! Really enjoyed that. Didn’t enjoy the smoke and cigars in the air. Service was slow. Wine was just Meh. The crowd is older, I’d say 50-ish avg. People were dancing. So here’s the kicker, we went to pay out… I had to leave a credit card to have a tab open(standard) but then she didn’t give us a ticket. She just said, «it’s $ 48.» Wow, for 5 glasses of crappy wine! Ok, but here’s cash, we didn’t want to charge on the card. Ok, we gave her a $ 10 tip after we give her the $ 48, she says, «thanks!». Then my friend thought to ask for the receipt. In the event the card were to get charged as well, we wanted a receipt to show we had actually paid in cash. She stumbled with the computer for a bit saying, «oh, I already closed it out, sorry.» But we waited.. .. ok, she got it to print. And on there was an auto-gratuity of $ 8 she just failed to mention to us. Seemed like she purposefully just told us the amount so that we DIDN’T see it. She knew that was our first time there so she KNEW we didn’t know that would be on there. Not even when we tipped her $ 10 did she even say anything. To me that’s STEALING from the patrons! I don’t know if this is just her or all the servers, or if the owner knows this is happening. I was going to call, but based on what I see now on here, the owner may be no help. Sooooooo, I thought I would warn you fine folks. And I, nor anyone I know and can tell this story to, will ever set foot in this place, ever.

Nice atmosphere, good drinks but a bit pricey though. One draw back for me is that it allows smoking.

Run don’t walk… The other way. Went there on a Friday night with my wife and my sister. Dark, smoking IS allowed. Drinks were horrible, lots of liquid, but no taste just burned on the way down. 20% surcharge(mandatory tip) if you sit at a table. We left after our drinks were done since the band was so loud we couldn’t even talk to each other. We won’t be going back.

Happy Hour on a Wednesday-just a handful of customers there. Well made martini-$ 2 off for HH is nice. Smooth jazz on the sound system-even some smooth jazz Christmas music thrown in-but no Christmas decorations in evidence(not that that’s a bad thing). Good place for after work relaxing.

I have seen the Ups and Downs of Martinis and More. Years ago, I used to make the hike to the Woodlands to meet my North side girlfriends and get away from inside the loop. Martinis and More was lively, fun, and had a pretty young crowd. Now, its a bit of an older crowd(35+) but they still have some GREAT bands(Luther and the Healers, ect) and some darn good Martini’s. The place is dark, and small, a good place for a date, and they have a good selection of martinis and cocktails. I would like to see more variation on the wines, but hey, its a martini bar, not a wine bar, so… Will continue to stop in here when I am on the North Side, as it is an old favorite.

Came here with the girls on a Saturday night and had a great time. The band was A-W-E-S-O-M-E and the cover was only $ 5 Extensive drink menu… the«Luxury Startini» is my fave. Small bathrooms and dance floor but clean and cozy. Great place!

Went here for a Girl’s Night Out. We tried a variety of Martnini’s and they have some good ones. Great, NON-SMOKING(yippee) atmosphere. Wednesday is ladie’s night so our drinks were ½ price– that was a pleasant surprise. Limited appetizer menu and not impressed with the selection. Didn’t have a band the Wednesday we went but hopefully that isn’t the norm. Overall, if you want a nice, relaxing atmosphere to hang out with your friends this is a good place to go but do not go hungry or looking to meet new people.

Went here one night on a whim with the wife for a romantic evening out(away from the kids). Definitely an older crowd here. If Baker St. is the place frat boys go to die, this is their heaven. Drinks averaged $ 10. They have about 100 different«martini» varieties and, of course a full bar. There are multiple scotches on the menu — 12 years old and up — all the Glens and some others. I ordered one on the rocks and got a double. Food is mostly appetizers. Waitstaff was a little busy the night we were there, the place was packed. I had to go to the bar to get water because our waitress never brought it to us. The music that night was great. A full band and two women singing doing motown classics and some recent stuff. They really got the crowd involved and made it a definite experience.

This is a clean well kept establishment. If you are with a group and want to find a nice place with reasonable prices and great service this might be a 5 star location for you. If, on the other hand, your looking for night life and a place to go to meet new people this is not so much the place. Customer service will still be great but the live music is clearly«C» list entertainment. The dance floor is too small and the crowd is not so much into mixing.

Good drinks! Matt the bartender took good care of us on a recent Monday evening. Happy hour pricing was $ 1 off beer and $ 2 off martinis. Be aware — no food is served on Mondays.

Martinis is a fairly new place off of Louetta &249. It provides a much needed afterwork location in this area of town. However, I have to say the drinks were mixed really really weak. Its a nice enough place and up this way your choices are pretty limited.
