Louetta Veterinary Medical Center of Spring

Dr. Redden and her staff (especially Torrance) helped us through a difficult time with an end of life situation with our geriatric cat. She called our home while she was on Christmas vacation and talked to us at home regarding our cat’s status and prognosis. It didn’t make the decision any easier, but it did let us know we were making the right decision. Thank you, Dr. Redden.

I do dog rescue, so I bring in a lot of dogs. I’ve been very pleased with this place for over a year now. I’ve probably had about 25 appointments in the last year (I have a lot of foster dogs come through my home), and there is rarely a wait in the lobby. I think only one time out of 25 times have I waited more than 10 minute past my appointment time. They don’t overbook. I followed Dr. Redden here after she left another vet office where I used to take my rescue dogs because I really liked her. However, I’ve seen the other doctor (Dr. Tolland or something??) that also works here once, and I liked him too. Dr. Redden is very thorough and compassionate, as is the staff. I’ve noticed no changes in the staff within the last year, which is a good sign. When I call, and I do call often because of the volume of dogs I bring in, the front desk people are very knowledgable and helpful.

Everyone that works here clearly cares about the jobs they do. It’s always clean and there’s always a friendly face to greet you.

It’s clean, new and bright. The staff are so friendly too. The Doc was great as well– she listened to our concerns and answered our questions. We are not from Texas so she also gave us info on immunizations we needed for our dogs that we hadn’t heard about.
The waiting area has a play area for kids! A Duplo table and bricks and some books to read.
The problem I have is how over the top expensive they are. A spay for a puppy at $ 400? Yikes. Also, they want to test your dog for every illness under the sun and medicate. $$$$$$
We love our dogs but this place is breaking the bank.

I wish that there was a rating greater than 5 stars, because if there were, Louetta Veterinary Medical Center and their staff would truly deserve it.
My wife and I have multiple pets, each of them mean everything to us.
They leave no stone unturned during an examination of any of our pets.
Recently a 15 year companion of our family, Copper, had problems that he simply was not going to recover from and we had to make the most difficult decission anybody could in that situation.
The staff at Louetta vet clinic examined and treated Copper as though he were their pet.
They knew this decision was hard for all of us, and went above and beyond to ensure that Copper was taken care of and treated respecfully and humainly.
Even after Coppers death, we recieved hand written condolances from each and every member of this wonderful staff.
We will use no other vet as long as we reside in Houston

I have not been completely comfortable with the 2 vet practices I have tried since moving here to Spring 8 years ago… until now. My 15 year old precious cat was very sick and I needed to find a practice I could trust. After researching and reading, my gut feeling told me to go here.
I feel so blessed. Everyone in that practice is so caring and compassionate. We found out that there was not a lot of hope for our cat Sox but we gave him some meds to help him feel better. We took him home. They called me the next day to check on him and when I said he wasn’t doing any better they so compassionately talked us through our choices and what was best for Sox. The next morning we took him in and we were given all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. We were able to stay with him and the vet was kind enough to explain it all to us. Not only us but also Sox was treated with so much dignity and compassion and I will never ever forget that.
We now have a new vet family for our remaining four cats and our dog. Thank you to everyone there.

Staff are excellent and knowledgeable! I always feel warm and welcome when I come here. The technicians take the time to get to know you and take care of all your and your pets needs.
The cookies and coffee are always great too! :-P

I’ve been going here for over 10 years and have always been very pleased with the doctors, staff, and overall service and knowledge. It was sad when Dr. Gunn passed a couple years ago, she was a terrific vet and a very warm and compassionate person.
Dr. Henson is the new owner, and Dr. Blessman is also there usually on Wednesdays. I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with both of them and they are also great vets.
This location is very convenient to me, and they are usually open like 7am-​7pm most days.
Thankfully over the years most of my visits are just the routine checkups & shots. When there have been emergencies I’ve been able to come in right away.
I’ve lived in a few different places over the years, and while I’ve never had a bad vet, I really like this place and the people the best.
