Lone Star Floors

Had hard wood floors done on my previously carpeted stairs from these guys. I have to say other than a scheduled time window hiccup in the beginning they did a great installation job. John was super helpful and accommodating and although his two man team got to our home about two hours later than when scheduled they still managed to knock it out in a day, as was needed. Very professional guys.
Hats off to Eric (the installer) the guy didn’t even take a break. Worked straight from around 1:30 to about 7 to get it done, that’s 14 steps and 2 landings. John himself called a couple times to check up on progress. Now although the wood does seem lighter than what we have down on our floors already, John assures me that the stairs will darken with age, I’m just gonna take his word for it.
Regardless I would not hesitate to bring my business back to lone star floors, great sales rep. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone, particularly their Spring, Tx branch.

Great customer service, huge selection and competitive pricing! I was given the runaround by one of national flooring chains (rhymes with expire) so I ended up contacting this local business. John, the salesman, was very attentive, helpful, and answered all my questions honestly without trying to push a high priced product on me. The installation guys came in the following weekend and really did a great job on the floors, I have received nothing but compliments on how well the floors were done and which company I went with. Overall a great transaction from start to finish, my only complaint is that my crew started around 10:30 am (which is late to me) and finished in the evening as opposed to coming in earlier and finishing in the afternoon.

Stay away! Salesperson was incredibly rude and lacked customer service. Wondered into this place searching for new laminate and tile flooring. I walked in smiled at the guy and started looking at samples. The guy at the counter just stares at me so i greet him with «Hi, im looking for some laminate». He replies with a straight face, «Well you’re in a floor store». I quickly turned around and walked out of the store. Ridiculously rude. Id rather invest my time and money in respectful, customer service oriented professionals.

John was great and so was his installation crew. They fit us into their schedule at the last minute and got our job done by the end of that same week. John was easy to reach whenever you needed him and his crew was prompt and professional. My only complaint is that they didn’t put the transition pieces between the new tile and the pre-​existing hardwood floors back into place. That aside, we would gladly use them again.

John, the manager, is great to work with. He got us exactly what we wanted, quick turn around time and didn’t try to over sell us. Would highly recommend!
