GLASS AND MIRROR OF THE WOODLANDS

Had my bmw windshield water leaking problem fixed here. friendly people and prompt customer service with reasonable price.

I had a cracked windshield on my car and my dealership recommended I use Woodlands Glass & Mirror. I have used Safelite in the past with no issues… but since John Eagle Honda suggested them, I went ahead. They came out to my house and replaced my windshield. While the guy was removing the roof molding I noticed he was kind of rough. He popped them off quick and laid them on top of my car. When the service was complete, they had me sign off on a waiver that stated «Service inspected by _​_​_​— no issues» I walked around the car and didn’t see anything wrong with it so I signed off… Well the next day I noticed the roof molding had popped up on the back right side of the car. I tried to get it to go back down the but clip was cracked. I could get it to slide into place but as soon as I would start driving it would pop back up. I called Woodlands Glass and they said «sorry, you signed off that it was fine» and were not willing to help. After going back and forth they agreed to pay HALF of the repair cost to the vehicle. I declined and disputed the charge on my credit card to deduct the cost of the new roof molding piece and they are still fighting me on this issue. I drive a 2013 model car. I keep it in my garage every night… There is no dry rotting, or any deterioration… The only logical thing that could have broken that clip on my roof molding was the windshield repair. No one else has touched it…
It just blows my mind these people can be so rude and ignore the fact their installation service damaged my vehicle.
I will never do business with them again and be sure to let everyone know of my poor experience with them.

I called around for the best quote in The Woodlands. They offered me a quick and friendly quote with the lowest rate, guaranteed and offered to come to me to fix my windshield once they received the part (glass). I opted to go in– the location is easy to miss– its basically a little house on the i45 feeder road headed north from sawdust/​rayford. The job was complete in under an hour and the glass looks like original. There seems to be a friendly atmosphere in the shop– a couple people at the front desk chatting and techs in the back taking care of repairs. They do more than auto glass, it appears.
