The best Red Velvet cupcake I’ve ever had. The cream cheese icing is just amazing. My only complaint — I own a shop in close proximity and Cake Swirl is killing my diet!

Today my Mom stopped in and brought me home 2 cupcakes from here. This was the first time i had ever had their cupcakes. And i can honestly say, ive never once had a cupcake where the actual cake part was equally as delicious as the frosting. Im more of a frosting/​icing kind of gal, because most cakes/​cupcakes are usually dry and plain, but these cupcakes from this location were absolutely delicious and impressive. The frosting was so delicious and the cake part was delicious also, and moist and full of flavor. I wil definitely go back and try more flavors. Ive had those cupcakes from other more «known» places i wont name names– and even though the icing was delicious the cake was lacking. So i give this place 5 stars for hittin the spot and being deeeelish!

I had a pineapple right side up cupcake, kinda dry and icing wasn’t that great. Got a cookie for a friend and she said it was pretty good. I’d give it 2.5 starts bc ½ was good and ½ wasnt.

Loved!!! This place is nice and cozy, a really cute shop in Old Town Spring. I tried the German chocolate and peach cobbler and they were AWESOME! We got 1 red velvet & 1 pb Reese cup and they were both dry! Frosting was too sweet, I took 1 bite and couldn’t eat the rest. What a waste!

I am an amateur baker and these were the worst cupcakes I ever paid for. I had never even messed up a batch that bad. The cake was grainy and flavorless. I must say the frosting was decent. I make a similar frosting. I went there @ 2 pm on a saturday and there were literally like 6 cupcakes in the case. She brought a pan out and I was told that was it??? What??? What kind of fools keep this business open??? Will never go again nor would I recommend it to the neighbors dog. Sorry, just being honest.

Its a shame that these people turned me away from using the restroom here because the cupcakes are pretty good. After I ordered a cupcake and was about to place a large order for fathers day I (40 wks pregnant) was told no I could not use the restroom. Food establishments are supposed to have restrooms for customers and besides that what jerk would do that to a paying customer in my shape. If you want your community to invest in small business then they should really invest in their community. The Cupcake Shack on Rayford Rd is much better I found out as a result of taking by money elsewhere.
Ive been told this is a septic tank issue but cmon one lady whos 40 wks pregnant is not gonna mess things up. She could have been courteous and have had a heart but no, she chose to turn away future business instead

Cake Swirl has a nice assortment of yummy cupcakes with delicious cream cheese frosting. The cake is moist and the frosting is perfect. I have ordered whole cakes from them as well and they turned out great.
Today I tried the Italian cream cupcake. The cake part had crunchy bits of pecans and the frosting was sprinkled with coconut. It’s not somewhere I go all the time since $ 3 a cupcake is a bit pricey to have often.

I do like there cupcakes but the employees there could not tell me if they used real butter crème or regular oil in there cupcakes. I don’t know if they are made in house or not, there is very little info about the products and how they are made…

Amazing! Free samples. Fantastically outstanding price. I had the delicious lemon swirl for only $ 3.00. Lemon cupcake with lemon (and creamcheese, I believe) frostings. Lemon gelatin in the middle. Soooo good. Nice environment with forks, plates, soft music, tables and chairs.
