Went here for the first time. My biggest issue was the wait time. Longest I’ve ever spent in a hair salon, I think 3 hours or a little longer. It was unbearable. The stylist was nice though, she told me what she was doing and what she thought about my hair quality and what I needed to do to rectify it. Good for learning about your hair and how to make it healthier. But I refuse to spend that much time in the salon.

Pierre is the owner/​operator of this establishment. His prices are fair and he keeps his appointment times. There isn’t a wait on non-​holidays buy be ready to wait an hour once you are in the chair… He’s a perfectionist!

I was going to get a Keratin treatment but was afraid of breathing in formaldehyde. Christine told me about a new treatment that doesn’t have any formaldehyde. I decided to give it a try because my hair can get pretty unruly. The Chi Enviro American Smoothing Treatment is a great product! I can’t believe how beautiful my hair looks and feels. The initial treatment consists of shampooing, applying the product, blow drying and then flat ironing to seal in the product. It feels a little tacky but this is temporary. You have to come back 24 to 48 hours later to have your hair washed and blow dried. Within the 24 to 48 hour period you can’t do anything to your hair. Just let it lay straight and wrap it without hair pins at night. When Christine washed out the product, my hair was wavy and not the usual tight curl I’m accustom to. After she blew it dry it was so silky soft and shiny! No more tacky feeling and it has nice body and movement. I am so happy with my hair and am glad I took Christine’s advice. I will definitely do this treatment again. It’s much better than a relaxer.
