I only drive by so I see that they put out bunch of stuff by the road once in a while.
One day, about 3 months ago when I was considering getting rid of my 2006 BMW K1200R motorcycle, I saw a ’05 Yamaha R1 out there… marked $ 5,499.
My bike is worth at least $ 9,000, I stopped just to talk to them. Owner would not let me take it for a ride even though I arrived on a motorcycle…‘TEST RIDE ONLY AFTER SALE” wtf??? especially shady since it wouldn’t even start…“bad battery” sure…
Then I said I’d only trade, but I’d have to get cash with the bike as my bike lists for more. He left to check the bluebook, then came back and said «not interested»
