Spring Lake Seafood And Barbecue

It’s gotta be a front for something else cause they don’t know food. The one thing I liked was the hush puppies. They took and made them smaller so fo get about it. Seafood is lacking just that. Seafood. I won’t be back. I miss the Dairy Freeze.

well i live in spring lake, and was excited to see a seafood place open, however, this place is horrible. i went when they opened, the food took forever to get, it was over priced, i paid 11.00 for 6 pieces of oysters, i went back on fri, with my daughter, there were no customers in sight,. bought the saucey wings as you cant go wrong with them,. but the employee (older woman) was terrible, we walked in, she turned around and started yelling at a cook, we had to wait for her to get done,… we ordered drinks with 0our food,… we had to ask for our cups after waiting for a while, then we had to ask for lids,… the lids are coffee lids,… i didnt dare ask for a straw,… if they get didnt employees,. il go back. but not until then…

I have attempted to eat at this place twice now. The first time was the week they opened. Everything was a disaster. They couldn’t figure out why their hush puppies weren’t coming out and I waited 20mins for my food. The clam strips were ok, run of the mill frozen and fried. The fries were thick but plain. The beans tasted like pork and beans out of the can.
I was put off by the fact that the tarter sauce (mayo based) is just sitting out on the tables in ketchup-​like squeeze, non-​sealing bottles. Can restaurants do that? Doesn’t the mayo go bad? The inside was not esthetically pleasing and was kind of smelly; a not pleasant odor.
I attempted to go here again in the beginning of December. Got clam strips and fries again. Horrible! The fries smelled sour-​like. They were so stinky that I couldn’t stand to eat any of it.
