Over the past fifteen or so years, I have been to numerous studios with all sorts of different yogis and teachers — even yoga at the YMCA for starters! I have appreciated the opportunity to learn from so many, through all yoga«types,» from Ashtanga to Iyengar, Kundalini to Hatha, Yin to Power, Aerial and Hot, but never have I been in a class with an instructor who lacks the intention or sense of what yoga is or COULDBE less than Sandy Parker, the owner of On the Path. In her yoga classes as in her studio, it is all about her, which is evident in how she not only asks but demands you watch her rather than trying on your own, regardless of your practice or ability, in her Levels classes. She is known for gossiping about her studio’s yogis before & after they have paid for and practiced yoga in her studio. If you’re seeking authenticity or the true gift of what yoga is and can bring to your life, go elsewhere. This is not the path true yogis will want to get or stay on. Namaste~
