So while my boyfriend and I visited Spring Hill, we stayed at this hotel… we’ve stayed in Holiday Inn Express’ before in different locations and overall have always been satisfied… on our 3rd day, the maids were outside our door and asked if we needed service, of course we said yes please because besides getting the trash taken out, they hadn’t done anything to our room yet… got back to our room on this day and still our room had not been attended to, so we went to the front desk and talked to the manager about our experience and he would not do anything for us but give us some toilet paper… I would say to anyone that plans on staying here for an extended period, don’t expect your room to be cleaned or management to do anything about it

Clean rooms and smells good. There is an outside pool and mini gym. Breakfast was good with many selections. The house coffee is tasty.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever! Dawn the front desk Rep had the nerve to ask me to leave with«my crazy kids» kids who had been strapped in for 3 hours. They were walking around the lobby talking to each other. I would recommend this location to no one! I will be writing a letter to corporate Holiday Inn regarding this location and the absolute horrid behavior of the front desk associate.

This has been the first Holiday Inn that I have stayed at in years that I would not return to. Things started out well with a friendly lady at the front desk, she was accommodating to our needs(a handicap-accessible room). The room that we received was nowhere near the best room we have stayed in with these features, but we made it work. The only reason that I am writing this review is to complain about the horrible manager. I do not know his name, but he made a lasting impact. I was sharing a room with someone who was in a wheelchair and did not feel like coming down for breakfast. The previous day had been hard on him, so I went down to the breakfast room and went to get him breakfast. The lady prepping the meal was very nice, but then the manager came down and said that we were not allowed to take food back to our rooms. He then told the lady that she needed to be enforcing that rule and then he threatened to fire her. This deeply upset me, because I now worry that I have gotten this poor woman fired, for a rule that I have never heard of in any of my previous hotel experiences. I hope that she was able to keep her job until she can find a better one with a manager who has some decency.

Don’t stay here… Terrible front desk! Stood at the front desk for at least 10 minutes waiting to check in. Lo and behold, the front desk person was the woman I passed on the way in. She stayed outside sitting on a bench and smoking a cigarette while I waited for her to finish. She checked me in with a 1st floor room. Before I went to the room I asked if she had something on a higher floor. She said no. The room was terrible(landscaping lights shone in window/noisy/no privacy). I went back to the front desk and said I wasn’t going to stay in the room. She argued with me saying the room was fine and I had to stay in it. As I started to leave the hotel she said she would find me another room on the 2nd floor. This clerk named Dawn was horrible. Never will stay at a Holiday Inn again.

I booked this reservation in order to stay go to Weeki Wachee water park. I arrived at aprox 5pm and was treated very rudely by the receptionist/staff. I originally had requested a non smoking– pet free room due to my daughter being severly allergic. I was put on a smoking floor. As soon as you step out of the elevator the stench of smoke hits you. The room was mediocre, the bathroom was dirty, urine on the toilet seat. I decided to overlook everything since it was only going to be a short stay. My children were tired of being locked up in a car all day so I decided to take them to the pool. The pool was dirty and filled with soot or some floating stuff. When I asked the front desk, «Can someone clean the pool?» I was told, «Absolutely not, the pool service will be in the morning! And please keep your daughter’s hands off the sliding door or I’m going to have them clean the windows!» I was appalled and quickly checked out. I was further demeaned when the frontdesk clerk said she would have to go with me upstairs to check the room. She had the audacity to count the towels and said,” Good you didn’t take any!” When she said, «Im sorry you didn’t like the room» I expressed to her it was the poor service and conditions of the hotel that was sorry. Please don’t stay here or with any Holiday Inn. Customer service refused to help me or credit my account. I had to place a claim through my credit card company.

This hotel is ok. It’s clean and really close to Weeki Wachee. However the beds were not comfortable and the pillows were crap. My wife and I woke up several times during the night just from being uncomfortable. Breakfast was practically cleaned out when we got down there at 8:30am. The area is not bad so I guess what I’m saying is you can do better, you can do a lot worse.

Jay Panjabi was more than accomodating — the room was spotless and the pool was clean — I have read the other post and truly do not undertsnad — I thought the value, the location AND the srvices was excellent.

Very Nice Rooms, Front Desk people were very nice. the pool is great as well to lay out ! GREATBREAKFASTASWELL :) Close to a couple strip malls and about 1 hour to orlando and 1 Hour to Tampa ENJOY :)

Don’t bother! Before we booked a room we asked about an exercise room. The owner/manager(we found out later) told us where it was but he didn’t bother to tell us both treadmills were out of order. We are traveling for most of 3 months so we need to exercise in the morning or gain lots of weight. The palm trees were dead by pool. We booked at Hampton for tonite.
