Great little park located right on the Wisconsin River. There is plenty of space between each of the 12 designated first-come, first-serve sites, which are limited to tent camping only. Make sure you show up early if you’re looking for a quiet place to set up camp for the night while avoiding potential noisy neighbours at the much larger Governor Dodge State Park.

A beautiful park, with trails for hiking/walking, as well as camping and picnicking facilities. Right next to the Wisconsin River, making it an ideal location to spot wildlife, especially birds. Be sure to take your camera and binoculars. Of specific note is the Shot Tower, used from 1833 to 1861 to make lead shot. Molten lead would be poured from the top of the tower to fall 180 into a pool of water.
