I was driving past Royersford & checked Unilocal for a Chinese place. The other reviews of this place were good so I decided to give it a shot. It is as good as everyone else says! The food was delicious, service was fast, the food was hot, fresh & flavorful, how can you go wrong? They are mostly centered around take-out/delivery, but they do have two 4-person tables, a TV playing daytime TV(I was there at lunch time) and apparently have free WiFi(I didn’t check that out). I had the Beef w/Garlic Sauce w/Pork Fried Rice and Hot & Sour Soup for lunch. Total cost was $ 6.30. They have a cart with free hot tea, chopsticks, sauce packets, napkins, etc. Apparently all food is packaged«to go», since even though I told the cashier that I was going to eat there, they packaged it in styrofoam & plastic. I’d love to go back but they really aren’t near me. It’s definitely a standout, even though it doesn’t look that remarkable from the outside.

Based on my first take out order here. I moved to the area recently from the main line. Lots of nice places on the mainline, but Mayflower blew them out of the water. Great food, great prices. Crispy crab Rangoon, not too sweet. Yummy fried rice. Juicy chicken in the meals. Definitely will be my go to place.

I was skeptical at first but decided to try it based on the Unilocal reviews since I happened to be in the area. Turns out they are a pretty good option for reasonably priced food made with fresh ingredients. For $ 6.75(?) I got a Hunan Shrimp lunch special with an eggroll and pork fried rice. The broccoli and other vegetables were fresh and the shrimp was decent sized. Not a huge fan of the egg roll, which was lacking meat in the stuffing. Good option for a quick take out.

Since moving to the area, this is our go-to for Chinese takeout. The staff is friendly and the food delicious and reasonably priced. Our family of four(2 adults, 2 younger kids) can get takeout for about $ 24. The only dish we’ve had so far that we weren’t crazy about was the Hunan Chicken. It was pretty much just chicken and vegetables in soy sauce. Our favorite so far(other than our stand-by General Tso) is the Schezuan Triple Crown. The Ginger Chicken is great as well. Their boneless spare ribs are good, and offered«dry», not drowning in the sickeningly sweet sauce most other places use. Another big bonus is the ability to add or sub out options on their combos. No more getting stuck with JUST fried rice!

Considering the fact that I myself used to work for a Chinese restaurant for 12 years this was tough. I’ve been searching for a decent restaurant for a while… Because I will constantly compare! however this is better in a lot of categories not sure what they do but they’re doing it right. I know what goes on in those kitchens, and I can tell you that this is the cleanest I’ve tasted within a 15 mile radius. I’m still exploring trying a few different things but this place is legit they know the business and they got their timing down and the prices are on point. Something my old restaurant had no idea about.

The place looks like nothing; but that doesn’t at all carry on to the food and the employees service. They offer online ordering through beyond menu, calling is just as pleasant an experience. I always take out, The food is always hot and fresh. I recommend boneless spare ribs and any udon mix, super delicious!

I called to see if they would deliver to Collegeville and they did! The wait wasn’t too long, the portions are great, and the food is delicious. The staff are so friendly too. Definitely my go-to for Chinese.

Wonderful take out Chinese! The food is delicious and the staff very friendly. Although this is primarily a take out restaurant, they do have a couple tables that you can use to enjoy a quick bite. I think my favorite is the Chinese Eggplant and tofu with garlic sauce… although I just tried the Spicy Shrimp and may have a new favorite. I’ve never had anything quite like it — an asian flavored tomato-based sauce with shredded vegetables. .Nice to have chewy brown rice for a change, too. Everything seems quite fresh and the they are happy to steam your meal, if you prefer.

We had chicken with broccoli… very fresh, and the chicken was thick, meaty pieces. The lo mein and scallion pancake were excellent as well. The eggrolls were very VERY greasy… but good. I think I found my new regular place. They don’t always handle busy nights that well, but delivery is a nice option.

Very friendly folks working here. Super easy to call in take-out with no errors and the food was ready in a timely fashion. Everything came home in tact, including the hot and sour soup(no leaks!). Piping hot and excellent portions. Loved the crab rangoon, as others stated. Egg roll was killer. Sweet and sour chicken was a bit too greasy, but my daughter didn’t seem to mind. Beef and eggplant was suggested and I enjoyed it very much. Rice was sticky and brown rice was a nice option too. Will be in the regular rotation to take-out Chinese food moving forward.

Wonderful place. I’ve been getting takeout from here for years. When they first opened, I got a flyer with their menu. I was ready to try something new after being very disappointed with other local take-out Chinese. Fantastic from the first day. Regularly order Kung Pao Chicken, Beef with Pepper and Onion, Hot Sour Soup, but just about anything on the menu is worth a try. I lean toward the ones marked as spicy. Staff is very friendly. Service is fast and efficient. Everyone needs a «favorite» take-out Chinese place and you won’t go wrong if you make this one yours!

Consistently great food and exceptionally friendly staff/owners. I ordered from here at least once a week and I’ve never been disappointed. My new favorite dish is the beef with Chinese eggplant. So delicious! There are about 5 Chinese take out places right by my house but I will continue to order from here. Definitely check it out! It’s worth any kind of drive. My brother lives in DC and has eaten at some of the best restaurants but when he comes to visit he always asks to get take out from here. Yes, it’s THATGOOD!

I am very happy that mayflower has been consistent after trying many of the areas Chinese takeout places. Other places have been hit or miss. Ordering online was very easy and convenient.

Just recently had the bone-in spareribs and roast pork lo mien and they were awesome! Still great delivery service. Pretty sad when the guys are delivering to one of our neighbors and waves to my kids.

My fav in the area! They have the best Beef and Broccoli in the area! Not only that but they will take out or put in whatever you want. And for a mom with 3 picky eaters there’s nothing better then hearing they will take out the peas or make my vegetable fried rice with my choice of veggies! Great place! Great staff! Thank you for your service. We truly appreciate it.

After years of mediocre to poor offerings in Phoenixville, years of enduring burned spare ribs, years of my pleas for«extra, extra, extra, extra spicy» being ignored, my search for a quality Chinese take-out place has ended. Thanks to Unilocal I discovered Mayflower. I’m quite sure my first visit wasn’t a fluke and that it’ll be this awesome every time I visit. I love being able to order online. Their website is sooo simple and user-friendly. And great for someone like me that has to have their orders prepared to exact specs because you can write notes to the chef when placing your order; in my case, no baby corn, no water chestnuts, and extra, extra, extra, extra spicy. Spare ribs — Awesome. Meaty. I asked for them not to be fried and they listened. Broccoli and Shrimp Combo — Awesome. I asked for spicy and I got spicy. Why didn’t King Chef ever listen? Btw, with Mayflower’s combos, you can get lo mein instead of fried rice for a small upcharge. That rocks. Wonton Soup — Very good. Crab Rangoon — Awesome. In fact, the best I’ve ever had because their version doesn’t have the thick shell; it’s lighter so you really taste the filling. Egg Roll — Fantastic. The shell is light and not overfried. The filling is substantial. Service was ridiculously friendly. The girl even double-checked my order to make sure everything was there(unheard of!!!) and told me exactly how many sauces she put in the bag and asked if I’d like more. Sorry, King Chef, we’re over. And it’s not me, it’s you. I’m rolling with Mayflower now.

Tried this restaurant after our usual Chinese restaurant starting going down hill. Food was excellent. We had the teriyaki steak, shrimp Rangoon, shrimp with broccoli, egg rolls and pork fried rice. The fried rice was the best I ever had. All the food was fresh tasting and good portions. We had it delivered and the delivery was fast and the driver was very friendly. I think we found a new place to get our Chinese fix.
