Northwoods Hardware Hank and Rental Center

A business can have the best product in the world, but if your staff is bad it will not matter. As a manager and owner I find bad staff unacceptable. I like to frequent local places to keep my money local. It’s a win, win. However, the staff is so rude here I will not be back. I stopped in here today on purpose choosing this hardware store rather than going to a big box store. It was 6:20 at night, they close at 7pm. Upon entering there were 7 customers in the store. Two employees, a man talking gossip with a customer and a woman who was clearly ready to fly out the door. Cash drawer out, papers on counter, obviously ending her day. I needed paint. I asked her to mix me a gallon and she informed me I would need to come back tomorrow. I was irked. I stopped here specifically for that reason, she just didn’t want to do it. I decided I would skip paint and go to the other hardware store tomorrow, but I did grab a couple cleaning items. Well, I tried to check out, but man employee was no wear to be found and woman employee was doing end of day stuff. There was a lonnngggg line of those 7 customers. I almost put my stuff down and walked out, but already knew I would be writing a review I wanted to see how long it would take her to get to us… Guess what? 16 minutes!!! Absurde! If that was my employee she would have been fired on the spot.
