Sante Restaurant & Charcuterie

The food was so delicious. I had the halibut and it was excellent.
My waiter forgot about me, so I considered docking a star but once he finally took my dinner order, he was fine. And everything I ordered was incredibly delicious.

Fantastic! The food is AMAZING! Unique blend of flavors and lots of choices! We went for brunch, and decided it was perhaps the best we have ever had! Décor is classy but cozy, service was excellent, and location is easy to access! Highly recommend and we will go back next time we are in town!

Couldn’t tell you about the food because we waited 20 minutes before the waitress acknowledged us after getting waters, we had to leave and find another breakfast option.

Made a dinner reservation for 8:30 and upon arrival were told that the kitchen closed at 9:00. Constantly felt rushed and unwelcome. It also could have come down strictly to the waiter.
The food, however, made up for the experience entirely. The sausage is homemade and absolutely incredible. The cheese plate, for what it was, was quite delicious as well. Caesar salad, while not to my date’s taste, was very good.
We also ordered the wagyu beef, and the pasta with muscles and mushrooms. Both were exceptional and are two must orders.
Other than the atmosphere, ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would return.

Quite good. Not the best charcuterie I’ve ever had but generally quite good. The carrot jam that came along with the board was amazing.

MAGICAL!!! We went here for breakfast on Sunday and it was fantastic! This was our first time to Santé and it is such a cute restaurant! It’s elegant and cozy at the same time and super comfortable — not really what I was expecting — it was so much better! We could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish. We began with the most delicious mimosas and then I had the Quiche special filled with veggies and potatoes in the side. Additionally, I ordered a side of bacon and the pancake special which had orange whipped cream and seriously just deliciousness! YUMMY!!! He ordered the Omaha omelet with potatoes on the side and that omelet was fricking tasty! I don’t know what they did to the peppers on top but that was some magical stuff! He also ordered bacon and the pancakes and seriously, there was so much food and the pancakes were HUGE and we ate every last bite! DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to try their lunch and dinner:-)

The food was delicious! Most, if not all, of it was locally sourced from farms in the area. I had the hash and my friend had the eggs benedict.
Service was quick and helpful. We were seated immediately (to be fair, it was a Friday morning between breakfast and lunch rush). When I ordered the hash, I asked if it contained any dairy (allergies are the worst) and she said it did not.
When she came back to present our food, she made sure to note that the butter on my crostini had been clarified so that the milk solids were removed. I was impressed by her knowledge and desire to put my mind at ease!
My only complaint was that they had started experimenting on the bloody mary recipe the day earlier… switching from jalapeño to cayenne and some other changes I can’t remember. I’m sad to say it was pretty disappointing. The flavor was more salty than spicy and it was so thick it seemed more like baby food than a drink. Neither my friend nor I could finish more than half.
Overall, the experience was fantastic! The food was delicious and sustainable. I would even be interested in trying the bloody mary again once they’re done experimenting :)

After trying a few other options Santé has become my definitive destination for brunch. The ambiance is upscale without feeling formal and stuffy. It’s definitely a cloth napkin kind of joint, dark wood tones abound, and soft acoustic music adds the feel of a proper café most anywhere in the world but the clientele is a mix of collared shirts and yoga pants with tennis shoes. The place is great for a family meal, a date, or to just sit with a book and enjoy a quiet meal to yourself.
I have been impressed across the board with the food. A particular favorite is the Santé Benedict with memorably delicious ham – they prepare their meats in house and the results are predictably wonderful – and sage for a unique garnish. The maple-​sage sausage is to die for and the rotating pancakes and lattés-​of-​the-​month keep me coming back. Not every iteration suits my palette, the orange mocha and the lavender for example, and the same is true of some versions of the rotating sandwich and burger but I love their experimentation and that they’re developing interesting dishes. I have yet to try the dinner menu but I have every expectation it lives up to the same standard.
At least as important is the staff. I have only rarely found quite so friendly and attentive a bunch anywhere in my travels, much less Spokane. I may only visit Santé once every few weeks but the servers remember my name, my coffee preferences, and treat me like an appreciated regular. As such I will most certainly continue my patronage and would recommend this restaurant accordingly.

I had one of the best burgers of my life here recently, a seasonal waygu beef burger with cheese and walnut pesto. The meat was of the highest quality and tasted seriously fantastic with the pairings. Foie gras was excellent, too. Sante is a great place to check out if you find yourself in Spokane and are used to bigger-​city life and dining — you will not be disappointed.

Wine pairings were right on, and surpassed only by the flavors of the medium tasting menus. If you’re hungry get the long menu.
The trouble with this style is the wait between small bites. It can seem annoyingly long at times. They did bring us extra spiced cashews which we loved.
A beautiful dining experience and the staff were on point the entire time. A great NYE experience with tree lights and festivities nearby.

Santé is one of my favorite restaurants in Spokane. I love French food and they prepare it so well. Every single bite is well thought out and the ingredients are so fresh. Foie Gras is my favorite French delicacy and Santé knows how to prepare it perfectly! I definitely will keep coming back!

My wife and I went to the Sante Restaurant & Charcuterie in Spokane Washington last week and had some yummy food. Sante’s feature a wide variety of home made breakfast, lunch and dinners. They also have a separate full bar area with many wines and specialty drinks. Sante’s uses many unique ingredients and techniques for there meals, like breaking down an entire elk to make sausage for breakfast. At night they smoked pig belly, pig head, and all kinds of other items. Our meal was delicious with smoked pork, over deep fried pig face meat with a jalapeño honey and lime zest. The meal was beautifully presented and one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Sante’s home made, and different Salami’s, Pepperone, Sausage, and other meats and cheeses types they make, are all delicious !
A Great place to go for a drink and enjoy some great food.

This review is basically four years in the making. I love Santè so much. I went to college at Gonzaga so this restaurant is only a 15 minute walk from campus and it is so worth it. I think this is probably the best brunch in Spokane. I would recommend the Sante benedict it’s always cooked to perfection and everything is tasty an well seasoned. I also am a huge fan of the hash. All of the skillet items are so crispy and it has knock-​your-​socks off flavor. It also features the most beautifully cooked duck egg on the top.
For dinner, I generally just get whatever is on special. My most recent trip to Sante (in late July) the special had goose replace chicken in their main dishes. It was out of control. This was probably the best poultry dish I’ve ever had.
Don’t miss out on their charcuterie board. They have some really tasty selections. You can also take some charcuterie to go. I would strongly recommend the duck prosocuttio. It is basically duck candy. It is so delicious.
My only criticism of Sante is that when you have a large group they tend to falter a little bit. They had a real trouble splitting up a large check and constantly gave people the wrong plate. This is nothing major but it is one of the only downsides of the place so it is worth mentioning.
***One last piece of advice, their evening cocktail menu has a «bartender’s choice» option where you just tell the bartender the general theme you want (sweet, spicy, bubbly, etc.) and they make something that they think you will like. BE SPECIFIC! I’ve never had a bad cocktail from Sante but I know a lot of people that are to explicit enough about what they like/​do not like so they end up with a cocktail they are sad about.

Stumbled across this new restaurant as soon as my husband and I landed in Spokane. He was craving breakfast, we Unilocaled, and chose this gem. Great choice for breakfast. They have 4 different breakfast dishes. I got the «pancake of the day» which consisted of amazing tasting apple cured bacon, and farm fresh eggs! Everything tasted sooooo good! My husband had their latte which he said was also delicious!
The set up of the restaurant was cute too. Like a french boutique, spacious, and beautiful tables. Nice atmosphere, and a great gathering place for large group, for 2, or even to come alone. Servers are HARDWORKING, and very friendly!
