Good authentic mexican food… the seafood burrito is awesome, and they make killer drinks too and I like the chips sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon with a dollop of strawberry sauce and whip cream they give you… delicious!

The taco salad was the saddest thing I had ever seen for $ 9.99. Not even a taco shell? No bueno. Also super stingy with the chips and salsa. Casa de Oro blows them out of the water on service and portions. Also, is the little girl running and jumping around through the restaurant and kitchen normal?

Store bought tortillas ?? At a Mexican restaurant? They should be ashamed to be in business! The food was mediocre at best but margaritas very pretty good. Service is nice and friendly!

Spent the last 20 yrs in So Cal, Mexican food is everywhere and authentic as it gets. Who would have believed I’d have the best food in Spokane WA! Hell I’ve even driven to Puerto Nuevo in Mexico for dinner. This is much better. Chicken is sooo good.

Yay for COKE products! I ordered a shredded beef taco and received ground beef though I did not return it or say anything as their salsa is fabulous and spiced up my taco! Rice and beans weren’t too bad. I am partial having living in Phoenix and So Cal so I am not trying to beat up this restaurant too much since they are near the land of potatoes and seafood. Love the chips and salsa… Wish my waitress wouldn’t returned to refill by COKE. Would like to see homemade corn and flour tortillas here! That would REALLY set this place apart from others. I enjoyed the little complimentary dessert of a sopapilla afterwards. Too me it looked like a little chip with a mini scoop of vanilla ice cream and canned whipped topping. COKE and SALSA=YUM Will continue to search for«the» Mexican restaurant in Spokane!

Absolutely love this place! I cannot complain it critique anything… we have been coming here for years — the staff is awesome — food is amazing — and the drinks are the best. This is a family-friendly Mexican restaurant — plain and simple. Whether you’re coming here for dinner with the family it just stopping for a margarita after work — this is the place to be!!! I, personally, love their menu. Good, simply complex, and just enough options to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. My personal favorite is the enchilada mole. Out of all of the different recipes I’ve tried — I can say that nothing compares to Rancho Chico!!! The staff are amazing — honestly over the years they’ve become like family… so maybe I’m a bit biased — but I have never had anything but exemplary service. They’re margaritas are great. Plus you get to do the pour yourself. not just the one glass!!! So that always makes for a fun evening… plus the price point is just right! This is a regular place for us. I love them — and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a good meal. Overall 5BIG Stars!!! I’d give them more… but that’s not an option! :)

Rancho Chico, by far our Favorite Mexican food place in Spokane. While my family and I were home this last week we tried another place in town and this place by far is the BEST! I had a Taco Salad without the shell — I love they give this option as I am on Weight Watchers, my husband had a burrito and my son had hard shell tacos(chicken) everything was gone. No one left hungry oh and they gave us dessert cinnamon pastry with whip cream and strawberry sauce it was AMAZING. this place should be on your must have list.

Loved this place! Everyone in our group was greeted when we walked in. Very welcoming! The food was fantastic. Had the Rancho Chico Burrito and couldn’t finish it. It was huge! Very delicious. Wife had a margarita and it came in a tumbler for refills. Everyone left happy!

I usually dont go anywhere that doesnt have 4 stars or more but this was an exception! I have been back more than once. It is good food and we all clean our plates every time. What Im most impressed about is the service you get from the staff and the cleanliness. You can see partly into the kitchen and the floors and counters are great. I wouldnt keep going back if it was the slightest bit dirty…

I don’t think I have ever given a ‘1 star’ review before but here I am. The food was cold, mediocre and the wait staff was incredibly grouchy. The elderly lady that I was with even asked me if the waiter was mad at her. Why in the world would he be mad at her? But that is how she felt, how terrible! I know that we will never be back.

Sister and I wanted to go to Tacos Tumbras downtown but they were late in arriving again. This happens more for some reason on Saturdays. So my sister recalled there was a Mexican restaurant near Audobon off Northwest Blvd. I had the combo meal, Taco with Enchilada, and my sister had fish tacos. I also ordered a margarita which was huge and very strong. We both thought the food was good, but we both thought that Tacos Tumbras is more Mexican authentic tasting. Service was very attentive. Nice touch came with a small dessert. So if you want a decent Mexican meal, this place is fine, but again, we prefer Taco Tumbras for a more authentic taste.

I use to love this place. Ate here often. Now it’s just so unprofessional. Waiters drinking with guests. I ordered my favorite spinach enchiladas and they didn’t have any of the right ingredients. When I told the waiter they remade it and only thing they did was add mushrooms ?!? I was so extremely disappointed. I will not be going back.

We have been regulars at Rancho Chico on NW Boulevard since they first opened, probably 12 years ago. From our first visit we were impressed with how they had transformed a dumpy, depressing restaurant(El Rio) into a bright, clean establishment that is always a pleasure to visit. Service: I’ve never encountered a friendlier staff. They always greet us like old friends, pinch the kids’ cheeks and give us warm handshakes. They are never to busy to exchange pleasantries, ask how we are doing and comment on how big the kids are getting. Food: Mexican food is always so subjective for people, but we love the food here. It is always fresh, hot and served quickly. The kids meals are huge, the fajitas are enough for us share, and the chips and salsa are great and never in short supply. And man, if you order a drink, they don’t skip on the booze. I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant or it’s people. We feel lucky to have them in our neighborhood! Great work, folks at Rancho Chico!

I came here despite everyone telling me Azteca was the best Mexican to be had in Spokane. It just makes me sad to think the best Mexican food comes from a chain. This is the first time I have dined Mexican in Spokane. It was… OK. I came in on a Sunday, which means fajitas are the special. You can get a slightly-larger-than-average combo fajita platter for about 10 bucks. They were good, no realy complaints, just didn’t knock my socks off. I have yet to visit any other Mexican places in Spokane, so I can’t put this place where it belongs on the ladder. Not to worry though, I’ve got plenty of time! Service was VERY good. I highly recommend the«hot» version of their salsa(in typical Mexican restraunt fashion, you have to specifically ask for it) it’s MUCH better and it’s one of the few salsas I’ve had a Mexican joint that is actually HOT. I’m guessing they augment the normal salsa with habaneros. Also had an above average amount of cilantro, which I appreciate. I liked it so much I bought some to take home!
