Pretty. Functional. Historical. There is Informational signage posted along river side of sidewalk heading towards the bridge from Spokane City Hall. See also Andrew H.‘s posted review.(Don’t know about seeing osprey but there are great views of the Spokane River, the Lower Spokane Falls, the Sky Ride gondolas, and of Huntington Park.) I come on Sundays, where normally metered parking is free and plentiful on the side streets opposite River Front Park, if you arrive at around 10:00 am.

I never thought about reviewing a bridge. Sure its functional, sure our taxes pay for it, sure its been around forever, but does it deserve a review? Yes, this bridge is a gem. Architecture: The city was wise to refurbish it years ago. The detail(and functionality) are superb. Function: In addition to using the bridge to and from work every day, I have crossed it many times, gazing at the falls. Tourism: It is a must see for tourists and locals. This bridge offers spectacular views of the falls, it is part of a great trail system through Riverfront Park Yes, it deserves a review, passion, and 5 stars.

Beautiful bridge built in the early 1900’s(how did they do it? I have no freakin’ clue) affords awesome views of Spokane River and her falls. Consider this the focal point of downtown Spokane after you’ve slid down the Radio Flyer and fed the goat, take a stroll down this gothic-esque bridge. Protip: be on the lookout, you can sometimes spot Osprey swooping down by the rocks. Protip 2: just north of the river are a couple FREE parking spots usually not occupied. If you don’t mind walking a little bit and are half as cheap as me, it’s a great place to find a spot!
