I absolutely love Mel’s! They have the best store for home décor, gifts, women’s apparel, jewelry, soaps, lotions cancles and furniture. The staff is fabulous. They always seem to carry something new and they go all out for the holidays. Whether I’m shopping for myself or needing a gift for someone, I’ve never left disappointed.

They have moved and their new location is very cluttered and hard to shop. Cute things but their old space was better. Prices are expensive.

No nursery anymore. The gift shop has moved into smaller quarters as well, although with a great selection of housewares, soaps, etc.

Well — I raved about the quality and the deal we got at Mel’s, the product of which we’re still satisfied with. However — the service turns out to be not so great. Mel’s is closing down (the owner apparently sold the property to the car dealership next door to pocket a few million.) and they’ve informed us that they will not be honoring the promise they made to sell us a slip cover for the couch we purchased at %40 off. This was one of the reasons we decided to get it in the first place — a would-​be great incentive. So much for the customer experience. Way to aim for the middle, Mel’s.
